Bonajour - skinyoan review for Eggplant BHA Water Cream

This one is water cream, containing 75,68% of Eggplant Extract and 0,13% Willow Bark Extract. The brand also states in the package, that this one contains their special ingredient Dermatic AC3 and Dexpanthenol but they are not listed in the ingredient list. Other worth mentioning ingredients are Panthenol, Arginine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin (-)-Alpha-Bisabolol. It's free of Alcohol and Fragrance but contains some Essential Oils (Rosewood Wood Oil). It has light, creamy texture and no scent. When I see BHA on the label, I instantly think of some strong exfoliants. But in this case there's no pure Salicylic Acid here but BHA comes from Willow Bark Extract. It is not as effective as SA when it comes to exfoliating and it's much more mild. I used this cream in my evening routine couple of times a week. I like the texture that was light and scentless. This absorbs fast but it's one of the creams that just doesn't fit in. It was too heavy for my morning routine but too light for the evening, leaving my skin oily in the morning. I dealt with it with additional moisturizer or mask on top of it but I don't like this solution as I prefer using one, solid moisturizer instead of two. I also didn't notice any improvement of my breakouts while using this cream, it was just good moisturizer and that's it. Overall I think it overstated that this cream can be treated as exfoliating cream. It's just good moisturizer (but tricky one, requires you to find the best way to use it) and I like it, it was pleasant to use but it wasn't any more than that.
