Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule Pad

product review positives
When I first saw this brand, Centellian24, the first thing that came to mind was that it is very similar to pharma-branded/medical doctor skincare brands. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I wanted to see what this brand had to offer and whether their products would be suitable for someone with an oily/combo skin type. I’ve got three products to test from this brand, which allows me to provide a more conclusive and thorough opinion on them. 💥 Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule Pad My Rating: 4/5 A Bit of Background on Madeca Mela Capture Ampoule Pad: - Anti-hyperpigmentation ampoule pads designed for use during step 2 or 3 of a skincare routine (after cleansing) - Contains 60 pads with a total of 165 mL - Purpose: to enhance overall skin tone by reducing melanin production 💥 I’m a fan of toner pads, but this one stands out as it’s formulated with ampoule rather than toner. Because of this, I use it in the third step of my skincare routine, allowing it to fully absorb for better skincare benefits. I also appreciate the hygienic application. 💥 Like others in this line, it highlights patented ingredients like TECA and 74% Centella Asiatica Extract for “whitening” effects. While Centella Asiatica isn’t widely recognized for anti-hyperpigmentation, the marketing emphasizes this benefit. 💥 It includes three patented ingredients that are suggested to target hyperpigmentation: - Mela-Clean: 100 PPM (0.01%) - Mela-Zero: 100 PPM (0.01%) - Mela-Drop: 100 PPM (0.01%) - Mela-Capture: (Made-White 300 PPM (0.03%), Niacinamide 30,000 PPM (3%), Alpha-bisabolol 200 PPM (0.02%)) Ultimately, the effectiveness will depend on the potency of these ingredients. Niacinamide seems to be the primary agent for brightening, which is common in other skincare brands. After a week of use, I noticed a bit of brightening that may have resulted from this, along with some unseen gunk mysteriously coming out of my pores. I also noticed some whiteheads easily falling out. 💥 This product contains fewer perfuming agents (essential oils) than others in the line. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced any irritation or reaction. 💥 It does a good job hydrating and plumping the skin. 💥 I used the textured side on my face, and after swiping for a few minutes, it seemed to remove some unseen whiteheads/dirt. This alone surprised me and made me like the product even more. Overall: I’d rate this a 4/5. It’s one of the better options within this skincare line, offering hydration and skin health benefits, and improves the overall skin texture and tone.
product review negatives
I don’t think there’s a particular con. I just think patented ingredients can be a hit or a miss, and thankfully in this one, it was a hit.
