The cleansing oil is formulated with herbal ingredients and has a nice, moderate, herbal scent. The texture of the oil is not too heavy and definitely feels like oil. It does a good job of removing water-proof makeup when massaged on dry skin. Upon adding water, the oil emulsifies and rinses away easily. My skin ends up feeling soft and clean. When wearing only sunscreen, I think this works as a one-step cleanser without the need for a second cleanse.
