amg3268 review for Cicaful Ampoule

This ampule is composed of 84% Centella Asiatica, Hyaluronic Acid, Rice Ferment, and Chamomile Flower Extract meant to work together to strengthen and calm the skins moisture barrier. Texture wise, it’s a lightweight, clear serum that absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving behind a sticky finish. The serum feels water based in the fact that it is very fluid and a little goes a long way. I like that the serum itself is meant for sensitive skin; nonirritating with no fragrance added to it. This ampule doesnt seem to do much on its own when my skin is at its baseline. I’d consider that to be when my skin has its normal strengthened skin barrier, no redness or inflamed breakouts. Initially, it was just a meh product for me. Yes, it slightly hydrated and felt nice in my morning routine, but it wasnt something I couldnt live without. Ive been struggling with acne as of lately and have been cycling through rigorous treatment with prescription Clindamycin, Adapalene, and Azelaic Acid. Naturually, my skin barrier became dry and flaky. I wasnt looking forward to my purging phase and the tight and itchy feeling these topical treatments would leave behind. I started incorporating this serum into my night time routine before Adapalene so the Adapalane wouldnt be so harsh on my skin and low and behold, it worked! The serum helped speed up the “tight and itchy” stage of my actives. Usually this would take a month for me but my sensitive skin was able to adjust to Adapalene in 2 weeks! No more inflammation, dry patches, and acne. Ampules are known to be stronger than serums and used short term to fix a skincare issue and its true on my end. I dont use this ampule daily, only when my barrier is weakend. Im so glad I have it in my routine for when I move on to next stage of stronger actives such as Tretinoin.
