It contains many natural ingredients like Beta Carotene, which is a strong antioxidant, extracted from fresh Carrot Seed Oil, protecting the skin against free radicals, promoting skin health and hydration and helps to maintain the skin's elasticity and radiance. This Serum also contains Panthenol (which is another powerful antioxidant) and Allantoin for their hydrating, repairing and calming properties, Algae Extract for it's skin conditioning, protective and anti-aging properties, Hyaluronic Acid for it's hydrating amd moisturizing properties, Beta-Glucan for it's skin soothing, calming and healing properties, Ceramide NP for it's water retention and it's skin conditioning properties and multiple oils like Sage Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Orange Peel Oil and Shea Butter for their soothing and skin softening properties and for their claims to fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation, to rejuvenate the skin and to strengthen the skin barrier. It's a vegan product that was dermatologically tested, isn't tested on animals and while it's suitable for all skintypes, it specifically caters to sensitive, dry and dehydrated skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This serum has a quite strong and heavy, natural, green, almost typical vegetable-like scent. It's a scent I personally don't like that much, but luckily, it doesn't keep lingering and evaporates quite quickly after applying the Serum. 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This very lightweight Serum has a clear colored, liquid, low viscosity texture, a bit like an oil, not too watery and runny, but not quite gel-like either. It feels a bit sticky while applying but after absorbing into the skin, the sticky feeling is gone. It does take a few minutes to absorb fully. It doesn't feel greasy or oily, doesn't irritate the skin and doesn't make the skin feel dry or tight. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The Skin Food Moist Effector comes in a clear, sturdy and quite thick 52ml glass bottle with a brown metallic colored dropper on top of it, to ensure a hygienic application. The bottle is looking quite natural. On the glass, little brown speckles, reminding me of garden soil, like used when growing carrots, are emphasizing the natural aspect of the product. The bottle contains some basic info about the product in brown lettering in both English as Korean, but most of the text actually is in Korean. The glass bottle comes in a equally naturally looking, sturdy and thick brown colored carton box, containing relevant information like a list of ingredients, instructions on how to use it and a caution warning in brown text in both English as Korean. It also features a print of carrots on the front and some info on the method they used to steam the carrots on the side. Overall, the packaging is looking very sturdy, thick and natural. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After application, it takes a few minutes for the serum to absorb into the skin fully, it doesn't sink in immediately and it does feel a bit sticky while and after applying, but the sticky feeling is gone after it's fully absorbed. I do feel an immediate improvement in moisture and hydration though. After application, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth, intensely hydrated and moisturized, nourished, soothed and plump and looks healthy, balanced, radiant and less red, with a natural and healthy looking dewy finish. Besides the stickyness that keeps being noticeable for a while, I haven't experienced any discomfort while or after using this serum, it feels comfortable without feeling dry, tight or irritating and I didn't experienced any breakouts or itching either. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I absolutely love it, but I'm not a fan of the scent. I'm highly impressed by the amount of moisture and hydration this serum provides and how it makes my skin feel nourished, calm and soothed. I also love the radiant and dewy looking finish it provides. As I said before, I'm less impressed by the scent, but luckily, it evaporates quite quickly. In my opinion, this serum is highly recommended to anyone with dry or dehydrated skin, looking for intense moisture and hydration or anyone with sensitive skin looking for a soothing, nourishing, calming and healing product to reduce redness, spots and hyperpigmentation.
