Glycolic acid, a type of aha is a water soluble acid that targets the top layer of your skin which basically means they help with textured skin, fine lines,uneven skin tone and also as a bonus, it increases cell turnover. I started incorporating it slowly into my routine as over exfoliation can damage your skin more but I didn’t not experience any sensitivity to it, in fact it very gracefully took a position in my nighttime routine 2 times a week. It’s helped target my textured skin. I also incorporate it on my underarms since it works really well at reducing odor and sweat.
