M Magic Cushion
It’s a good budget friendly beginner foundation, cost around $12~ on yesstyle. I really like how you don’t need to much product to build a somewhat good coverage. Leaves a nice dewy texture and not too drying. I really like how this gives a nice cooling sensation! Does a pretty good job with covering up my rosacea and a bit of my hyperpigmentation as like I said it’s pretty buildable. For me personally it smells like flowers and it definitely is noticeable but then after 10 minutes you don’t really notice it. It also was an irritating for me. I was lucky enough that it was in my shade which was #21 Light Beige (im pale, and have a warm tone skin)
There aren’t many shades there are only two (#21 and #23) which makes it pretty difficult. I haven’t personally tried this with a primer but I feel like that would make a difference since I have to really make sure that there is no residue of my sunscreen in order to apply this or else it comes really clumpy or cracked patches of oil. Then again I am still on the hunt for a good sunscreen and maybe it would work better.
Not sure how it would work on other skin type since my skin type is dry and since currently writing this review it’s becoming summer which makes it not ideal to wear since it can be a bit heavy with sunscreen. It is possible to have a nice base and then layer on products but you really have to take your time and blend it out. I am also not mad since cushions tend to be around $20 as this one was around $10 and it’s kinda like you get what you pay for. I also haven’t tried applying blush, concealer, or setting powder; as since I tried and it really just made it clumpy and peel off my sunscreen that I had underneath it even though I did let it sit.
