The Claim: - A daily treatment pad that contains just the right amount of Lactic and Glycolic Acids to safely and effectively exfoliate, tone, and brighten all skin types. - Safe for daily use by all skin type - Cucumber and Indian Gooseberry help tone skin while Lemon Peel and Licorice Root leave the complexion looking bright and glowing. - Regular use of these pads will smooth the skin’s texture—providing the perfect canvas for flawless makeup application. My Take: There are 2 types of exfoliating pads. Ones that are mighty strong and deliver an at home peel experience, and ones that are more gentle for daily use. This one is marketed as the latter. The brand recommends once or twice daily use. I don’t use it as much as they recommend, as I prefer not to mix too many actives, so I only use it at night, and only when I am not using retinol. I am actually surprised that this is recommended for twice daily use as I find that this one seems to deliver quite a strong result just by feel on my skin. The pads are textured on one side, and the material is quite good quality as even after I use the leftover on my hands and body, the cotton still holds its shape. I can’t find the % of lactic and glycolic acid if disclosed, but I have no irritation from my use of the pads. However, I don’t have sensitive skin so I can’t say whether these would cause any issues. FAB products are made for sensitive skin though so if anyone has tried twice daily use with sensitive skin I would like to know how they go. Conclusion: FAB continues to impress. These are a bestseller for a reason. They deliver above average results for daily use pads.
