Hi there,first of all, is retinol for teens?  I am currently suffering from mild acne and I heard retinol can help with that by stimulating collagen production and such. I am not sure about beginners' retinol percentage but I am aware to start with the lowest one. I am much pleased to see your recommendations❤️☺️

Hi Pickies! I got my first exfoliator which is the COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid.I'm curious of how to use it as I am new to exfoliation. Can you give me advice or tips on how to use this? Thanks so much!


PS: I did a patch test on my neck and so far, I can't feel any discomfort or see redness

James Welsh is one of the influencers who really helped me with my skincare journey as a beginner (I'm 14 so🙂). Anyway, he has really good and helpful contents to adress your skin needs and concerns, he also reveals truths and scams about "hyped" products (he grills them sometimes😂). On top of that, I really love his saying "Progression over Perfection", it helped me realize that skincare takes time and not an overnight miracle😆

I also love it when he makes videos with his twin brother Robert, they are so humorous and funny together, you will see a "different" James when he's with Robert lol.
Robert is a content creator as well where his contents focus on makeup.

THE BAD THING : Skincare for men in the PH has really been an issue since then, they view it as a "gay-ish" or feminine thing when a man do skincare which I absolutely disagree with.Others would tease u for having a routine like 🙄, it's basic hygiene duh😂



THE GOOD THING: The Gen Z of the Philippines' really normalized lot of nonsense things about everything, one is about men's skincare, they encouraged men to have a basic routine. They are also against the "you're gay if you do skincare" thing. Some girls even do their bf's skincare🥺



I'm glad several skincare brands in the PH have the "Skincare is for every gender" mindset❤️

My Picky Acc.

The bad thing is, it does leave you a greasy oily look😭. So here is a tip to solve that con: Put a baby or loose powder on your skin and it can make you look less oily and achieve that mochi-look. Although some people might not want or do not really prefer the matte look but atleast you solved the problem hahaha.

This one is probably my all-time favorite sunscreen being broke cause this is affordable😆.Anyway, this is a chemical sunscreen that does not leave a cast and it is also super light to the face.

This really changed my dry combi skin, I used this for about 3 weeks I guess. This is very calming as well and I don&#39;t know why lol.
Maybe it&#39;s because hyaluronic is known to help heal wounds and pimples faster.

This one I believe does not protect you from UVA and UVB rays as it is not broad-spectrum and for me, I think it lacks ingredients that really shields your skin from harmful rays to say that it is an effective sunscreen compared to many other sunscreens. Instead, I would use it as my day moisturizer💛☀️

Also, this contains somewhat strong fragrance so if you don&#39;t like fragrance or don&#39;t prefer it, you might not like it as well but fragrance isn&#39;t the worst thing in the world right?😆🤗

It has licorice extract that is known to soothe and brighten the skin💙

It also has niacinamide which we all know a cult-favorite for its wonderful benefits such as brightening, oil regulating, strengthening your barrier much more.❤️

The product itself is really good, it is a gel type that glides to your skin beautifully and has no white cast.

A really really really HG for me!❤️✨
 It contains the right percentage of niacinamide that fits my skin plus hyaluronic acid that also really fits a dry skin person like me.😘
 You only need a pump and that is enough to cover your whole face as it glides  perfectly to the surface of your skin. Also, this is fragrance-free which adds a point to sensitive skin types💚

My experience using this

From my first application &#39;til now, it gives me  this glowing, dewy and hydrated look that I also feel as well, I also noticed a difference on my pimple scars cause some of them faded away.  I am using this for more than a week now and I can say that my dry skin also improved😊😚

Nothing bad for me, especially it has no fragrance which i like.

So far, this has been one of my  holy grails, it made my dark spots lighten, it also calms my skin when irritated.
