I’ve been MIA for the past couple of weeks due to mental health reasons. 
I’ve been having anxiety and stress induced attacks lately…

I miss reviewing skincare products but my head is not in the mindset for anything at all so I took a little break… Breaks my heart to do so but I didn’t want to force myself to do anything half heartedly.

I just opened my email and I was so surprised to see in the Spam folder that I won the Commonlabs’s Vitamin E Calming Ampoule! What a great pick-me-up for the hellish week that I have been having.

Silver Star - is this real???

Hey everyone. What’s your favorite Korean Skincare Product(s)? Preferably fragrance, essential oil, and alcohol FREE ✨

I’m currently eyeing the Isntree brand - especially their sun gel and green tea toner!

Hi guys! I have combo skin, prone to dehydration if I over exfoliate, or not drink enough water. Acne prone, too. But main concern is the texture and leftover red acne marks! 
I do have a somewhat sensitive skin, which gets red real easily, but I have built up the tolerance to stronger acids (when used sparingly).

I love trying out and reviewing new skincare products! Comment down below what you can recommend. I love hearing other people’s suggestions.

Has anyone tried any products fron the Sweet Chef line? The Ginger + Vitamin C Bright Spot Tonic looks great but I don’t know if it will work for my skin. Currently using the Timeless 20% Vitamin C serum (current HG)

A little bit of info about this cocktail product that I have been loving lately:
🍊 Vitamin C + Vitamin E = reduce breakouts and blemishes!
🍊Salicylic Acid - to exfoliate and unclog pores
🍊Madecassoside - soothing ingredient, perfect for sensitive skin
PS. They use Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate - a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin C. Works well when formulated with Salicylic Acid as well. .
This is my first time using something with Vitamin C, although I was a bit hesitant since my skin is sensitive, BUT I did not have any (bad)reaction to this product. It’s not a miracle one time use for bright skin instantly. With patience, over time, I did notice my skin being “brighter” and less likely to break out. Which is saying a lot!
I initially used this 2 times a week but upped it to every other night. It’s been around 3 weeks of me using this. The smell will take some getting used to (can’t describe it... it’s a bit strong) but it fades after a couple of minutes.
They recommend to use it in place of a Moisturizer. But I use a super lightweight one (The Inkey List Snow Mushroom) which is more like a “serum” to me at night. When it’s fully dry, I put the C-50 on top.

None that I can think of! It is really a great brand and product

Right after I shower, I pat this to my face when it’s still damp.

It has an interesting milky texture, but sinks to the skin instantly. Quenches my thirsty skin like a glass of water

From an ingredient perspective, it has no fragrance and essential oils. It’s also formulated with omega fatty acids such as Linoleic and Oleic. Combined together, these two acids packs a punch - locking moisture into the skin. 
Follow this up with serums of your choice, moisturizer, and SPF (important during the AM)

Amazed and looking forward to try out more products from this brand. I already have my eye on the cult-fave 2% BHA Liquid!

Niacinamide 🖤
A little bit of info about this hyped ingredient if you’re wondering:
🖤 It’s a form of Vitamin B3 (aka Niacin)
🖤 Overproducing too much oil leads to acne - this will help in controlling your oil production
🖤Studies also show that it can help with reducing inflammation, fading of hyperpigmentation, etc!

This 10% Niacinamide serum is combined with 1% Hyaluronic Acid, which is perfect because other Niacinamide serums are too drying and tacky for me. The consistency of this is perfect, sinks into the skin so quickly and plays well with my other serums and moisturizer.

The packaging is AMAZING. It shows what to pair it with, what it is, and where&#47;when to incorporate it in your routine. Not ideal as a one and done cleanser for me. I still need something else afterwards to fully cleanse my skin.

My Holy Grail Cleanser as a first cleanse at night. It removes all of my makeup, but it’s not harsh and doesn’t sting my eyes. Sometimes, I leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. My skin feels so smooth and supple after using this!

It is slightly heavy in the AM in the humid weather where I am at. Just needs some time to sink in, maybe.

Wearing masks all the time, my face was a wreck. My breakouts were the worst that I have ever experienced. This simple yet effective moisturiser saved my skin. 

With its medical grade EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), niacinamide, and centella - it slowly healed my skin and strengthened my skin barrier.

It is not a miracle product by any means. It is a slow and steady path that soothed and hydrated my skin over time. 

Already finished with mine and I’m missing it already! Hoping to get my hands on it soon.
