Instagram Squad!

One of my Skincare Resolutions for this year is to finally incorporate double cleansing onto my PM routine. I’m not one who wears makeup but I do wear sunscreen daily and very frequently, so I am aware of the buildup of residue and dirt on my skin that a single cleansing wouldn’t be enough to get rid of.

I chose to use the All Clean Balm from @heimish_cosmetic since I’ve heard a lot of good things about it from @joanday and @sunnydahye. I tried a cleansing oil before from Hada Labo but it wasn’t for me unfortunately.

TEXTURE
This feels very much like a sorbet. It scoops out solid at first but as you warm it with your hands, it dissolves into an oil.

SCENT
It has a pleasant, sweet, citrusy scent to it which I enjoy and not bothered with. It actually reminds me of those chewy orange candies I had as a kid.

MY EXPERIENCE
As previously mentioned, I mostly use this during the nighttime to remove my sunscreen and all the dirt, and oil I have accumulated throughout the day.

It glides on really smoothly on the skin and I love giving my face a nice massage.

It washes off really well unlike facial oils plus it’s never irritated my eye area. It leaves the skin feeling oh so soft, smooth, and clean ✨

A solid purchase and without a doubt I would repurchase it again!

If you don’t like dewey finishes on your sunscreen then this isn’t for you. Oily skinned people should also take not that this does tend to shine you up even more after hours of wear

CLAIMS
⛅️ A water based sun gel with eight types of hyaluronic acid that supplies moisture and cools dry skin.

TEXTURE AND SCENT
⛅️ It comes in the form of a white and quite runny watery gel. It doesn’t give off any fragrance but i can kinda sense something smelling like pine in there. It applies really well on the skin and doesn’t leave a whitecast. It provides the skin with dewiness and that effortless glass skin look which I loved! 💙

MY EXPERIENCE
⛅️ I really love the application of this sunscreen. It melts on the skin like butter and goes on so smoothly. It doesn’t leave a sticky feeling too. It’s like I wasn’t even wearing one.

I’ve had several bad experiences with chemical sunscreens affecting my eyes and this is one of them. I tend to sweat a lot through out the day and at one time it reached my eyes. My eyes started watering and I was suddenly tearing up from it. I also used an eye cream that I was testing that day and both even when used alone caused stinging on my eyes but it was lesser with this sunscreen.

Anyway, I would highly recommend this for all skin types if you’re looking for a good chemical sunscreen 🌞

This serum is such a holy grail for me! Not only did it brighten and even out my skin tone but it also helped fade a few spots I had on my face. I have yet to use this for a longer period of time to see if it can actually totally erase those spots but so far, so good!

If you’re scared of committing to the 20% Niacinamide serum that they have then this is a better alternative. Note that Niacinamide with high concentrations work just as well with one having only 5%.

If you’re also looking for something to help brighten your skin, look for Arbutin on the ingredients list. This one contains 2% of it which is also more than enough to see visible results.

This has Eucalyptus Globulus Oil giving it that strong fragrance which can be a cause of concern for some.

This cleanser has a very runny consistency that I didn’t have to squeeze the tube just to get some product out. It foams quite easily and rinses just as well without the tight feeling.

CLAIMS
Enriched with 87% snail secretion filtrate and azulene, this alcohol-free watery essence helps prevent moisture loss by restoring skin’s oil moisture balance while leaving it soothed and hydrated. Suitable for sensitive skin.

TEXTURE AND SCENT
Runs quite viscous and stringy, a common characteristic of snail secretion&#47;mucin based products. Feels lightweight yet a bit tacky at first. It is quite slow to absorb in the skin which can feel tacky for a while. Once it has set, it leaves a matte finish with barely any tackiness. Works well with other products too!

There is no added fragrance in this so expect a natural scent from all the ingredients mixed in. It’s actually not that bad. Think Chinese herbal medicine 😁

KEY INGREDIENTS
Snail Secretion Filtrate (87%), Glycerin, Allantoin, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Beta-Glucan, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Butylene Glycol

MY EXPERIENCE
This was a no fuss, straight up, snail mucin essence. Applying this felt so good. It has a nice slip to it and spreads really well covering the whole face. As mentioned previously, this does leave a tacky layer on the skin over serums and isn’t quick to absorb. Once it does, it gives the skin a matte finish yet deep hydration at the same time.
