it's been more than half a year since i've started using adapalene (since january). so, i started to incorporate bha/aha into my routine last april. but while i break out less often and my skin texture has gotten better, i still have a lot of stubborn dark spots that i have a hard time removing (although some of them are gone, i still have a lot more of them i worry about). 

i use sunscreen daily, and i've heard retinoids can reduce dark spots.

is there anything i'm doing wrong? :'(

Now, what I didn't like about this product was that it's not waterproof. Not only that, but it collected in the fine lines under my eye and my eyelid (I don't notice this happening with my other sunscreen). Every time I look at the mirror and close one of my eyes, I see a white line, which can be easily removed with your finger, but I don't like touching my face too often. 

Also, if you have compromised skin, this will sting so bad upon a few minutes of application. This sunscreen stung my upper lip and my cheeks back when I was starting to use Epiduo. Maybe when my skin becomes more resilient, I'll try this again in the future.

I'll just share my experience with this for now. I really like that this didn't leave a white cast on my tan skin, as well as didn't leave my face looking too shiny (it's still shiny, but not as shiny as when I use my other sunscreen) by the end of the day. It doesn't have much of a scent either. After months of using it, it didn't break me out at all.

i don't think it'll be nice for warmer season, though. also, it leaves a shiny finish, which i personally don't like, but i only use this at night so i'm fine with it.

this is a thick moisturizer, perfect for the colder weather in where i live!! i find it non-irritating and hydrating during the weeks i've been using this, but i hope this will be also hydrating enough for my skin in the future too, since, as of posting this, i've began using epiduo forte.

Update (January 27, 2022): It's been keeping my face from feeling too tight and dry when I use this in the morning. It's been doing me good!!

i didn&#39;t find anything bad about this one. this was the first ever gentle cleanser i&#39;ve ever used when i was starting to build a skincare routine. if ever i get the chance to buy this one, i would!

- aloe and tea tree to soothe skin

this cleanser has a faint, citrusy scent, which i really love. it is, indeed, very gentle on the skin, and it&#39;s able to rid the skin of dirt and excess oils. pretty much a good cleanser. i like how it foams up really nicely as well.

firstly, it’s not waterproof. this makes a really good indoor sunscreen, but you might as well buy a waterproof one if you sweat a lot. second, i can confirm that this, indeed, makes my face look so shiny i’d almost outshine the sun. this isn&#39;t something i prefer due to my oily skin, but it&#39;s something a little bit of powder can fix. lastly, the packaging is so tiny for its price; i remember seeing this for the first time, and it’s just a bit tinier than my hand.

its texture is like a very light cream that&#39;s easy to blend, and it didn’t leave any white cast on my tan skin. it’s nice that it isn’t irritating, didn’t sting my eyes, and is very hydrating, so i use this in place of a day moisturizer. it has a subtle sunscreen-y scent, but it disappears very fast so i’m okay with it.

i can&#39;t think of any con, to be honest. i had a good experience using this cleanser, and if i&#39;m able to save up money, i&#39;d re-purchase this one!!

it has a beautiful, faint green tea scent that intensifies a bit when you rub it into your hands. it has a brown gel-like consistency with green tea leaf bits, and it lathers into a nice foam. a little goes a long way, so it’ll take a long time for me to empty this cleanser!! after washing it off, it didn’t leave my skin tight and dry. it really does live up to its name, leaving my face refreshed after every wash.
