My skin is very sensitive and looking for new, great ingredients that soothe it down is a top priority for me. From experience I know panthenol & centella work wonders for my skin, as well as anything oat & propolis/honey.

I got the klairs Gentle Black Facial Cleanser (via Wishtrend PR) & while it’s an okay cleanser I am deeply irritated by their „pH balanced“ claim.

That formulation doesn’t have a direct definition of what balanced even means. In my opinion, if „pH balanced = 5.5 & slightly higher“ would be the exact definition, writing it on products would be okay. But as far as I am aware it is not the definition & thus it can mean a number of things without actually disclosing any real information for someone who doesn’t know about pH levels in facial cleansers.

What I mean is: Why not write „pH balance of 5.5“ - that way brands could have the marketing effect of the word „balance“ AND tell the customers aka us actual info about their products.

Hello everyone! I’ve been picked for the Skin1004xPicky Review event and got my ampoule today! After reading the ingredient list I was a bit shocked - 100% centella extract sounds great but is that REALLY everything?? Does it not contain any preservatives? If people touch their skin directly with the applicator and then put it back into the serum, that seems rather…. Mold-friendly? Does anyone know if it’s really JUST the centella? I’ve asked the brand on social media but haven’t gotten a response so far, so I thought I’d ask the community here! 💚

The pump doesn‘t evenly dispense product so its a bit tricky to use.

I was definitely positively surprised. I didn’t have any expectations for this sunscreen and really was quite impressed the moment I applied it. Especially in summer rn, with my oilier skin, finding a sunscreen that doesn’t add a heavy layer is a science in and on itself. I’m glad I’ve found a few products that check all my boxes – this one does, too. I’d even go as far and say, from all the sunscreens I tried lately, this qualifies as a Second Favorite. The Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ applies like a dream. It does have a glowy finish but it’s not oily/heavy/nourishing. I think dry skin types might not be too happy with this, but my oilier skin definitely approves. It feels hydrating & dries down quite well. I experience no pilling or a white cast.

I have nothing bad to say about it! Bought it plenty of times by now.

The sample I had was enough to decide whether or not I’d like this moisturizer. Of course, you can’t say how well the ingredients will work long term if you “only” have 4-5 uses. But you can most definitely decide about the texture, feel on your skin & if you’d be willing to buy the full size. I was willing to because this cream is nourishing but it dries down matte! I don’t know any other moisturizer with a finish like this. Nourishing but matte, my oily skin couldn’t be happier. It can make your skin feel like it’s “sweating” underneath. For me that feeling never lasts longer than about 10 minutes after application though, until the cream has settled, basically. It’s a thick cream & you’d expect it to feel oily, but it just doesn’t and I love it. 💗It’s not often that I re-buy a moisturizer. Moisturizers don’t have to deliver that much for me, they primarily have to be comfortable to wear. The finish of this is absolute perfection for my skin. You know you rly love a product when you start using it less because you can see the bottom of its packaging… Anyway – my second jar arrived today and I’m glad I won’t have to stop using it. I absolutely love this and I am glad it’s free of fragrances, essential oils & drying alcohols. Total 10/10 for me because 18,99 € for 50 ml is a good price for how much I adore it.

The scent is a bit plastic-y to me but thats subjective.

Light, non-greasy, rinses off perfectly with no residue, great easy-to-use pump bottle, removes waterproof mascara just as well as other kinds, dissolves layers of spf, primer, foundation, concealer, powder, blush &amp; setting spray with no problem whatsoever. It’s fragrance &amp; essential oil free.

It‘s a bit pricey but in my opinion absolutely worth it.

Non-foaming &amp; non-stripping! This cleanser is so gentle to the skin while removing all the grime from the day. If you wear waterproof sunscreen and&#47;or makeup Id recommened a cleansing oil beforehand but if not or when you cleanse in the AM, this is a beautifully gentle. Fragrance, alcohol &amp; essential oil free! The bottle is a vacuum pump, very hygienic and pratical!

My new favorite spring moisturizer. It‘s soothing &amp; hydrating, very light, sinks right in, free of alocohol &amp; fragrance. Nothing I don‘t love about it! Except that I can‘t buy it in Germany (yet).
