I’ve been using mineral-type facial sunscreens but find that it tends to look shiny and oily, no matter which brand I use. 

What are your thoughts on chemical facial sunscreens and are there any you recommend for dry skin?

My dry & flaky skin crew: what is your favorite moisturizer that lasts all day, doesn’t look oily or shiny, and doesn’t clog pores? I’ve been using elf Holy Hydration and love it’s intense hydrating properties but I’d like something a little less greasy!

There is not a single bad thing about this product!

I was so lucky to be gifted the brand new Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum by Glow Recipe and to be one of the first to try it before it’s launch (3&#47;30)! 🥑

This serum has a creamy texture and a beautiful pastel green color. It smells heavenly like avocado and cucumber - I almost wanted to eat it! The packaging is so cute like a bumpy little avocado and the pump makes it so easy to dispense and apply. 

This serum felt soothing immediately upon application. I have very dry skin and the avocado butter and oil in this product provided so much hydration! I did use it before applying my normal moisturizer but I probably wouldn’t need to follow with the moisturizer at all. With all the hydration this serum provided, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn’t make my skin look oily or shiny yet the hydration lasted all day. The directions recommend to use both AM and PM, however I didn’t feel the need to apply again at night because the effects were so lasting!

Ceramides in this product form a protective barrier over the skin and reduce redness. Within a minute of applying this serum, my skin looked more even-toned and smooth. My normal red areas on my forehead and cheeks were no longer red and my skin had a bright and youthful glow. 

I am overly satisfied with this product and it’s effectiveness with minimal use! I highly HIGHLY recommend this serum - I am so in love with my skin after using this! 🥑

At first the product did sting a little - I have somewhat sensitive skin - although that feeling went away after just a few seconds and was not unbearable.

This product was gifted to me by Paula’s Choice. I am always excited to try a new exfoliating product as I have very dry skin - and this one was no exception! My first impression was that I was pleasantly surprised by the holographic purple color of the product. It dispensed nicely from the tube and was very easy to apply using my fingers or a silicone applicator. 

The peel was comfortable to leave on for 10 minutes and didn’t feel tight or stiff and it stayed perfectly in place. 

After the 10 minutes was up, I rinsed thoroughly with warm water and a washcloth. My skin looked so much brighter, even-toned, fresh, and renewed. My pores appeared smaller after just one use. This product packs so much power in such little time and I am SO happy with the results. It’s quick and simple enough to use once a week, as the instructions recommend. 

I will definitely continue to use this product and highly recommend it!

This product remains very sticky and heavy throughout the wear. I did not see any results of brightening or glow like I would expect to see with a vitamin C product. I will not continue to use this product.

This product is easy to apply and smells delicious, like fresh oranges. The packaging is attractive and i like that it comes with a spatula to apply the product and keep the product clean inside the container.

I did not find anything negative about this product!

This product was gifted to me by I Dew Care. The Cake My Day Hydrating Sprinkle Wash-Off Mask was such a fun experience that can make any day feel like your birthday! 

The mask both looks and smells like frosting and cake - sprinkles and all. It comes with a spatula for easy application and it was so delightful to spread what looked like frosting all over my face. I applied a thick, even layer and let it sit for about 10 minutes. 

This mask does not dry so it doesn’t cause any tightness or dryness while wearing, which was great. After the 10 minutes was up, I rinsed it off with a warm, wet washcloth and could instantly see and feel the results! The hyaluronic acid, squalene, and glacier water worked wonderfully to hydrate and nourish my dry skin. My face also looked brighter and younger which is a huge plus!

This is one of the most fun masks I have ever used and I highly recommend it to anyone!

While it definitely provides everything it says it will, the one thing that prevents me from loving this cream is that it feels very heavy and oily, even for my dry skin. Because of this, I’ve been using it overnight. I do love the dewy glow, even tone, and moisture it gives my skin, but I’m sad that I just can’t get over how it feels on my face because I really wanted to like it. 

I have noticed that other honey and propolis products feel heavy to me as well, so it may just be that this ingredient is not right for me. I know that I’m From produces amazing products, but even the best of the best isn’t made for everyone.

This product has a lot more to offer than its gorgeous packaging…

The Honey Glow Cream by I’m From promises rich hydration, improved elasticity and fine lines, a strengthened skin barrier, and a brighter complexion. This is achieved with a 30.63% concentration of the Honey Glow Queen honey complex - a combination of honey, black bee propolis, royal jelly, bee venom, turmeric, bee pollen, and cinnamon. I did see these effects when using this cream.
