I have pretty sensitive eyes that water/sting very easily. My eyelids are oily so waterproof mascaras smudge and skincare products will always end up running and turning my eyes red or sting. 

Does anyone have good products to recommend, that may be safe to go close around my top and bottom lids? (Also mascaras, if you know any!)

Eye care for sensitive eyes?

I get sneezy and my nose and eyes itch when using certain perfumes or skincare. But with perfume it only happens with scents with woody notes (my favorite types 😩). 

Does anyone know if there are particular ingredients I can watch out for? 

These days I mostly use fragrance free skincare and don’t wear perfumes at all. But just been wondering if I can still give some scents a try if I can tell what to skip just by looking at an ingredient list. Thank you 🙈

❌ But honest to god it just won’t stop pilling on my face. I’m not sure what it’s interacting with to cause it, but whatever it is, it’s nothing I want to take out from my routine. So while in general it seems like a good moisturizer and i will empty the jar, I don’t think I will repurchase. 

✔️ I wanted to like this cream. It’s moisturizing, cooling, the more gel-type kind which I usually prefer. It also seems to work moderately well for acne. 

❌ But I feel that it strips a little too much, so I don’t think it should be an everyday cleanser.
 
❌ I don’t like the underlying scent that stinks somehow. It’s mild but there 😥 


I have combination skin that’s generally clear with the exception of occasional hormonal acne. But because I like trying new products, I end up putting myself in a purging cycle every so often and I’ve been trying to speed up the process of turnover where possible. 😆 

Enter a stronger cleanser than my norm when the acne comes: 

✅ It makes my skin feel extra clean, which is what I was looking for. 

- I have medium-large hands for a woman and the width options don’t fit my rounded/wider nail bed shapes. See photo for how they fit on my hand. Very unfortunate. 

- I wish the package came with an alcohol swap for wiping and prepping nails. 

- In terms of length these lasted 2 days before the first nail cracked. I let the design stick out from my natural nails a little, so that probably played a factor. For the ones that were clipped tighter to my natural nails the tips stayed on undamaged for 4-5 days. 

I received this product for free from Picky and Touch in SOL in exchange for my honest review. 

I love press on nails of all kinds because I work a lot with my hands, and the ease of using short term colors to spruce up my looks is always fun. I was excited to try these out as the colors and designs looked pretty. 

Impressions: 
- Gorgeous designs and lovely finish
- Convenient to use 
- Easy to remove
- Cured under light for a minute per instructions, but nails were still soft. To truly set it took about 15min after curing.  

Expensive. Can’t tell if it broke me out a little or I was just purging. But i like it enough to use for a long while to find out.

I bought the 0.5oz to give it a try and it’s truly tiny. But I loved it so much. 

This moisturizer is a watery gel type but feels more substantial than the usual of this kind. It has a very nice velvety texture that makes applying the product extra enjoyable. Which for me is a rare occurrence but huge bonus. 

My skin is combination and generally looks good when not in distress or purging from tryig new things, but after a week on this it really looked fantastic. Like I wake up and it looks like I’m ready for a photoshoot type of good I’m not even exaggerating. I did get a couple small pimples that came up, but couldnt tell if it’s due to coinciding with my cycle or not so I’ll have to wait and see. 

Overall I would highly recommend if price is not an issue, which for me is the only point of reluctance usually. I recently started on a whole advent calendar spree so if don’t find anything else great and cheaper after the binge, this will definitely become my default go-to.

Maybe I’m too used to the product by now, but there’s nothing particularly remarkable or transformative from using it. But it’s a cleanser. I’m happt enough so long as it does that job well and doesnt set my sensitivies off!

This is my main cleanser when I don’t have any skin issues going on. Gentle and makes my face feel clean without overdoing it. 

Has a light scent that doesn’t set off my fragrance allergy and foam is always nice to use. 

Overall I just feel very safe with it, which is meaningful for my sensitive skin (and nose)! It also has a nice price point, which imo is important for the everyday stuff. I update my stash whenever they go on sale.
