Is it okay to use two different cleansers in your routine? I use a salicylic acid cleanser and a tea tree cleanser and sometimes I feel it’s too much because over time my skin has become dryer and itchy, it even started peeling at some point.

How long does it take niacinamide to work? I currently use clearasil ultra and it’s main ingredient is niacinamide and glycerin, have been on it for about two weeks and my spots are still as dark.

I know a lot of people say that they both help acne of different types so it’s illogical to compare them but, I have had the two types of acne they work for and benzoyl peroxide did nothing significant for my acne. Salicylic acid on the other hand was great except it dried my skin too much. Salicylic acid cleared up my acne in two months, and it was really really bad. I still try to incorporate salicylic acid in my routine even tho I don’t have active acne, I just feel it’s a great skin care ingredient unlike benzoyl peroxide.

It usually gives a little tingly sensation on my skin which i would rather not experience, also it doesnt have a significant amount of essential ingredients.

This product is really gentle and soothing. Its fragrance isnt too strong and the method of application is easy and fun. I personally love foaming face washes and cleansers because they make my routine fun and this product is no exception! Although i wish it could have more active ingredients so it could do more work but overall its a great product i would recommend.
