When I tell you I was SHOCKED to discover that Vaseline does indeed expire.
To all my 1 to 3 years old vaseline girlies get rid of that bacteria filled vaseline you still have sitting on the counter! ASAP! Don't let me come and do it for you😤😤

Just like any other product, Vaseline can expire over time, so you must check and follow the expiration date. This is especially true when it comes to petroleum products, which tend to degrade with time.
Usually, Vaseline products have an expiration date of 2 or 3 years. However, if it has been opened, it's best to use it within 12 months.
Expired Vaseline may lose its texture and efficiency and may be contaminated with bacteria. So always make sure to use it within the prescribed time.

~What are the pros💚 and cons💔 of Vaseline?~

Pros💚

1. Helps to heal the skin when applied regularly.

2. Helps to keep your skin soft and smooth while protecting it from the elements

3. Helps to protect your skin from dryness.

4. Protects the skin from the harsh elements of the environment.

5. Helps to lock in the moisture of the skin to keep it hydrated.

6. Helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

(Someone said that Vaseline doesn't help to reduce wrinkles BUT I have to say that all the ladies that use Vaseline on the face, even with their old age, they don't have wrinkles or if they do they are not that noticeable. Including my mom. I'll still keep it here as a con)

Cons💔

1. Can lead to acne or clogged pores, especially in the T-zone.

2. It can contain petroleum which isn't great for some people. (There is eco-vaseline I think I saw it somewhere)

3. It can make the skin appear greasy.

4. It can be difficult to remove.
 (I can still feel the Vaseline I applied when I was 3😭)

5. It should not be used near the eyes (obviously🙄)

I remember watching a video of this guy, who was apparently a skincare expert or sum like that.
His topic was how diy skincare is bad, it will make you breakout, it's a scam and bla bla bla. 
All that suff. 
But like I'm seeing so many girls who use diy skincare and have "perfect" skin.
They be using the rice water, rice mask, honey mask, Greek yogurt mask and all that and their skin is literally so beautiful and clear 😭 and I also use homemade skincare and my skin is alright too.
So what is your opinion on this? Do you think it's a scam? It's only genetics? Or do you think diy skincare I actually effective?

What do ya'll think about DIY skincare?

Literally everything. I use this cream after I shave my face and after I started using it I stopped getting bumps.
Also there is no sent which is wonderful for people who may be allergic to any fragrance.
I also love the texture.
Would definitely buy again 

This product leaves a noticeable oily residue, which can be uncomfortable, i would not recommend to be used on the face if you have oily skin. 
Also, while this product locks in moisture it doesn't hydrate the skin. So it's best to pair I with you're favorite moisturizer. 
Additionally,the jar format can feel unhygienic since Dippin fingers in the product may introduce bacteria. 


💕MY FINAL THOUGHTS💕
Vaseline is the best option if you want a reliable and cheap product that can protect the skin.
It's heavy and greasy texture and the lack of added benefits might not be appealing to everyone. It's best to use it as a complementary product in your skincare or body care routine rather than a standalone solution. 


I love how this product creates a barrier to lock in moisture, making it excellent for dry skin, or cracked lips.
It's also hypoallergenic and safe, even for sensitive skin and also safe for babies.
It's widely available and budget friendly, making it a go to option for many. It also lasts very long, as a little goes a long way, so a jar can last months if not years.

I gave this product a try because It claims to gently exfoliate and clarify the skin, but that wasn't the case for me. 
After a month of consistent use it did seem to help with my texture and it didn't brighten my skin as much as I had hoped. 
After I was done with the bottle I didn't see the need to buy it again, as it would have been a waste of money, but now I'm tempted to give it a try again with a better routine and for a longer period.
Maybe, because of its gentle formula, it needs more time to work on me.
For now it didn't meet my expectations. Will definitely try again and will be updating my review once I did✨️💖

This product is very lightweight, it absorbs quickly into the skin and it doesn't irritate the skin, even in sensitive areas.
Also very affordable, you can find it almost everywhere, even online, it's widely available on many different shops, and it's very easy to use thanks to the spray bottle.
Love how it cools my skin and I doesn't dry me out. And I also love how it's gentle formula makes this product perfect with people with all skin types. 

I used this serum daily for just over a month, hoping it would deliver on its promises of clearer skin, reduced oiliness, and improved hydration. Unfortunately, it fell short in every area.

Despite consistent use, my skin showed no noticeable improvement.
The excess oil on my face remained unchanged, and my blemishes didn’t fade. Moreover, I didn’t experience the hydration or smooth texture the product claims to provide. Instead, the serum left my skin feeling tacky and sticky after each application, which was unpleasant.

While I appreciate Garnier’s effort to create a product that’s cruelty-free and eco-conscious, the lack of results makes this a disappointing purchase for me. I wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it to others.
