Didn't remove all my makeup like a good cleanser should and left my skin feeling like it needed to be cleansed again. 

I've been in the beauty industry for over 22 years now as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. I'm teased because of my love for products and how excited I get when I have the opportunity to try something new so when Byoma was the very first review round I was accepted for after joining the beautytap community I was really stoked because I'd not heard of the brand at all. I ended up really liking the majority of products I was given the opportunity to try so when I received the BYOMA Melting Balm Cleanser I was really excited to give it a go, unfortunately it did not make it to my holy grail list. Mainly because it did not break down my makeup like a cleanser should and left me feeling like I hadn't cleansed my face. I do however have a pre-teen son who is getting to the age where he's picking up a bit of a skincare routine for himself and this actually worked wonderfully for him as he's still quite young and very nervous about getting soap in his eyes, it applies for him very easily and rinses even easier. So I would recommend this for teen boys or girls who do not wear makeup and need a gentle cleanser.

I bought a huge pack of these sheet masks years ago on Amazon, when the sheet mask craze started really. They were a Xmas gift for my then teenage daughter who was really into kbeauty (before that craze began). I'll be honest here.. I'm a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist for over 23 year's now and I really thought these were a good buy for how many you got and the ingredient list seemed clean but I didn't think they be anything great. Well they began the sheet mask/face mask collecting in my house. I had 3 girls at the time only one was into her teens but the others were close. Still to this day we love collecting sheet masks and continuously keep quite a large collection even while using them. This was a great buy.. 

The only thing I'd say is that it oxidized a little after applying, lean towards a more olive tone then you typically would because it oxidized a little to peach in my opinion, not to the point of completely changing the color of the concealer but as a professional makeup artist it was noticeable to me

I have tried literally just about every product line and product out there, especially when it comes to makeup! Nothing excites me more then seeing a new line released or new products from existing lines and when I see one I have to try it.. When illmakiage was first released and you saw the ads really only on social media their guarantee money back or try free for 30 days actually really caught my attention. I actually really love when brands do this because to me that says they aren't worried you won't love thier product, it really shows they believe they have a great product! So I said what can I lose? I ordered the concealer and foundation based on thier recommendations after answering their what type are you questions (typically I don't ever use or follow that type of suggestion but I'd never seen or tired the product nor knew anyone who had, hadn't heard enough about it etc to make my own conclusions) I believe my total for both products was around 45$ which wasn't bad but I didn't even have to pay yet.  I was really surprised at how much I liked the concealer once I played with it a few times, it wasn't love at first wear but it took a few applications on myself to play with it and learn it.. It claimed to be high coverage and it wasn't at all, I actually found it to be very sheer and translucent with one layer.. But it's one of the most buildable concealers I've ever used.. Most concealers begin to get cakey and dry the more you build them but this one doesn't at all. So I really love that it can be great for anyone, literally.. Whether your wanting sheer coverage or heavy coverage or somewhere in between.. 

Byomas hydrating serum sadly was not a great product for me personally which really bummed me out after LOVING the cleanser so much!!! I live in Florida. on the West Coast Gulf of Mexico and our family is always in the water or on the water... It's extremely humid and always sticky and hot. After using the serum it left my skin feeling sticky, I attempted giving it more time to absorb but still felt sticky, like a layer of jelly was coated on my face which in this humidity is not comfortable. I do however have combo skin that errs more on the oily side the older I get, so I feel that my specific skin type isn't what this serum was geared towards but more to the type of my teenage girls who don't follow such a strict regimen with their skincare routine just yet... I did use it recently on a few of my daughters friends who I styled for Prom, and it worked really well as priming base pre makeup application with two girls who had dry flaky skin that I thought would be a real nightmare getting a flawless complexion and glow for… Great product for those dryer types who need extra hydration and again a really great price point. also love that this line is available in Target stores, so teens have easier access to purchase and a HUGE shout-out to Byoma for the way they have the ingredients listed, so even a 12-year-old can understand them and even better is how they list order of product application!!!

I really didn't find anything bad about this product.. 

Really gets your skin feeling clean and refreshed without striping it and making it feel dry...
