I’m trying to get calming/soothing serum. But I haven’t found it yet. Been using the ones from Beauty of Joseon but I don’t think it really work. Please share your experience

I have question. 
Stupid me always make my lips dry, then I would peal off the dry skin. I do this almost everyday. I actually use some lip balm or mask but it ways too sticky to me. 
So do you have any product recommendations for this problem?

Final thought: 

This is my second tube for my dry and sensitive skin. At first, I was confused how and when should i use this cos on the tube itself said this is balm???….. wait what BALM. 

Let me appreciate the texture. It is so muddy cream yet it absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving my skin plump and smoother a bit white cast but it will gone in the next seconds. Seeing the texture, i thought wow…it might be so heavy and greasy once I applied it for my whole face, but it turned out unexpected lol. This balm is really nourishing and it works well as it claimed for my skin. I normally use it once i got irritated from trying and testing too many skincare products or for my retinol night. And sometimes might be the time that i over exfoliated hehe. It is very gentle for the sensitive skin as well. The redness, itchiness, are always gone in the next morning, as it promises hehe. 

Personally, i only use this at night, sometimes in the morning once i feel my skin needed sth stronger than normal moisturizer. 

Unlike other moisturizer, this balm you need to use it in an appropriate amount, not applying too much for your skin else it will clog your pores or you will over moisturizing your skin which is not so good. 

I am sure that oily skin wont love this since the texture is quite heavy for them.

It does not work as it claims to be. And this clay mask is like a face scrub to me since the blueberry seeds are all over. It does feel tingling once i apply this on. And yeah price is way expensive than others.

I love the smell, it is so good and refreshing. The texture is light not so sticky as other clay mask, and not tightenning my skin while it dries.

I’ve been using for quite awhile now, however I didn’t see any differences in terms of brightening or fading my acne scars rather than hydrating and soothing. 

It probably will work after I finish the bottle, we don’t know lol. Be patient ✔️

Final thoughts: 

Even though it is included some of the exfoliating ingredients, this toner is gentle enough for my dry sensitive, I could use this everyday. It seems like a hydrating and soothing toner to me. I love how the lightweight texture it is, quickly absorb, fragrance free. It works as a gentle exfoliating toner which gently remove the dead skin cells and left over dirt while providing a good moisturizing and soothing for the skin. 

I didn’t experience with any irritation or redness at all, so this is safe for dry sensitive skin type. 



Will I repurchase? Maybe 🤔

I used this for about 2 weeks, and I see the same things happening to my skin. First, the product claimed to be not greasy feeling, yet it is opposite. I always feel so much greasy after I apply this on my skin as the last step of my AM routine. It is so white cast and it always peeled everything off my skin, all of my skincare products that I put them first. This always make me mad, yet I kept trying to use it. I tried to minimized my skincare products, and using only lightweight moisturizer, gel to be honest. Still , it peel again. Plus, it didn’t moisturized my skin as it said to be. I always feel like drying out and greasy using this. So I think it is not for my dry and sensitive skin at all. I don’t know whether you guys experienced the same thing but this happen to me, and I explained this based on my skin reaction only. I don’t know why it is always peeled off from my skin, still searching for reasons 🤕


I think this sun screen is not for me, my skin. Maybe your skin love it, I dunno 🙌

Who doesnt love this goody? It helps my skin alot. Soothing, calming, hydrating, and restore my damage skin barrier. It plumps my smin immediately after applying it. Best for sensitive dry skin, oily skin might finds it a bit heavy but guys i love this alot

Let me share my thoughts towards my new sleeping mask. I already posted on my tiktok, but here are the detail of the product. 

Dr. Jart, Sleepair Ampoule in Mask 

What it is: An overnight mask that calms redness and quickly improves skin texture to a healthy hydrated looking skin in the morning without feeling any greasy. 

What it does: to soothe and repair skin at night while you were enjoying your sleep! It also helps to limit the water loss, and improve the skin textures. 

How to use: last step of your pm skincare routine, rinse off in the morning 

Skin types: Dry, Normal, oily, combo, and Sensitive 

Texture: creamy glass gel, none greasy lightweight 

Fragrance: None 

Size: 110ml 

Skin concern: dullness, dryness, uneven 

Final: I have dry sensitive skin which is hard for me to look for sth that suitable for it. I found this on Picky, which were recommended by many picky squad. So I decided to purchase. This overnight sleeping mask does it job surprisingly well. Recently, I’ve many breakout, redness, and itchiness and this product help to calm that down 80%. The texture is so lightweight and I feel really once I applied it on cos it make my skin cool down quickly. I don’t smell anything with this product, like nothing at all, tbh. It does make my skin a little bit smoother, and pluming. Super hydrating and soothing 😩 

Overall, It’s pleasant to use, really does the job on my dehydrated and sensitized combination skin, and leaves it moisturized and soothed without feeling too rich. 

Recommend to use 3 times per week
