I noticed a layer of white precipitation at the bottom of the bottle.. but when i use it it doesn’t sting or irritate my skin.
I’ve opened this for around 2 months and I did not refrigerate this, should i still use this??

Factors to take into account:
1. I live in 🇲🇾 msia, so hot n humid weather!
2. I have acne prone skin, i have acne all the time
3. Affordable skincare please bcz im brokeeee
4. Prefer moisturiser to just hydrate or soothe, no actives please
5. Prefer korean/japanese/local brands!!
6. I like my moisturisers in a gel texture but creams are welcome too as long as they arent heavy and absorbs quickly! Lightweight is key!

PS: My current HG is Iunik’s centella calming gel cream.

Moisturisers suitable for oily-combo oily skin

I think the main one is dairy, including milk cheese yogurt n whipped cream etc, but what abt peanut butter?? Does that cause acne? Or anything else i should be aware of?

💦 𝑻𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆: Green grayish clay texture, with adzuki bean granules in it. It dries up pretty quickly and is easier to wash off when it’s completely dry. 

💭 𝒯𝒽𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓈: I only tried this two times, and the first time i find this quite hard to wash off, but on the 2nd time, i waited a lil longer until it was completely dry (which makes my face really tight and uncomfortable), this time it was easier to wash off. I’m not sure how the adzuki bean granules help with exfoliation, but i try to massage my face with it when I’m washing it off. I think this mask do clear out the dirt in my pores immediately, but I didn’t see the whiteheads poking out like @innisfree ‘s clay mask did for me. Also this has an earthy scent that might be a lil too strong. Overall it’s a decent clay mask, I’d have to use it more to comment on its long term benefits!

BUT i realised this is more of an immediate fix, or with consistent use u can see results progressively but it does not stay when u stop using it. The results i received from three weeks of consistent use were out the window when i swapped this for the caffeine eye cream. However i think this still appeals to me because at least it does its job. 
Another thing worth mentioning is its applicator. As an eye cream newbie, the applicator confused the hell outta me 😂 I kept getting eye cream at the corners of my eyes n it’s really frustrating 🥺 It also tugs at the skin when there’s too little product applied. This resulted in small red patches around my eyes. But once i got the hang of it, it turns into a relaxing step in my routine. I tend to press down on the applicator so it acts as a massage tool for the area around my eye. I feel like it helps with the dark circles more 😆 (increased blood circulation? Is this the same with eye massages?)

Texture: White cream, has sort of a pearlescent look to it, spreads into gel-like texture that absorbs faster than the caffeine eye cream

This eye cream does help brighten my dark circles! I saw results one week into using this!

My only complaint would be the dewy finish, which progresses to oily on my face pretty quickly. I usually use it in my PM routine and it gets better on the next day (after a whole night of AC) but my face would still be abit shiny, especially around the T zone.

💭 𝒯𝒽𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓈: I really love this and I think half of it is bc it’s packaging is too cute 😂 Everything abt this is good, even though the calming effects aren’t significant, which i usually don’t expect from a moisturiser. 

💸 𝑾𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆: I’m intrigued by the ‘duo cream’ concept of the full size moisturiser, it really sounds amazing for combination skin like me, so I’m tempted!

🔥 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔: Oily~ normal skin types

💭 𝒯𝒽𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓈: I’m kind of disappointed with this one on its brightening effects. I used this day and night for almost a month, and the effects are pretty minimal. I do love that it’s pretty hydrating and it’s packed with all the good ingredients, and also the hygienic pump packaging, however, it does contain EO and the smell is pretty noticeable. Overall this is a ‘meh’ product for me and i think there are better options out there.

💦 𝑻𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆: Yellowish gel like texture, turns watery upon application, takes a while to  absorb and leaves a slightly dewy finish.

This is a very hydrating moisturiser for me and it took a lot of trial and error to find the right amount for my skin. I used to use this with just toner and one serum, still my face would turn shiny within an hour or when I wake up the nxt morning. It did break me out in the beginning, I rmb getting small bumps across my face for a few weeks but then it went away. Also, there’s no brightening effect observed as I’m almost all the way through it. Nevertheless, it’s good for anyone who wants to simplify their routine-you can just go ahead and slap this on ur face without toner&#47;serum and it would be hydrating enough!

Gel like consistency, very hydrating!
Reasonable amount for reasonable price,
1 jar lasts me for around 5 months.
