Ever since I started washing my face with only water in the morning and only cleansing at night, my skin has looked so much more clear and glowing. It’s important not to strip the skin of its natural oils and unless you get very oily overnight, just splashing your face with cold water is the perfect way to wake the skin up in the morning

Recently I’ve been using the kombucha tea lip balm from dr ceuracle and it’s nice for hydrating. However, my lips have never been more hyrdrated and plump since I stopped avoiding them with the rest of my skincare routine. If a toner is good enough for the rest of your face, it should be for like as well. The only thing to keep in mind is you don’t want anything too harsh and nothing you can’t ingest. What are your thoughts on this?

Are lip balms necessary?

A lot of you probably already know this but you can use the extra serum from sheet masks to make another mask! Whenever I use sheet masks, there’s always a lot of serum leftover in the pack. I used to keep this in a little jar and apply it later but then I found compressed sheet masks. A pack of 100 will cost you around £5 and once you drop one in, it’ll expand and absorb the serum, giving you sometimes even 2 more masks. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Sheet mask hack!

Hand care is just as important as face care, especially in the winter months. I am a self proclaimed hand neglector but recently I’ve been keeping hand cream in my bag for quick hydration on the go. It’s such a nice moment of self care and I’ve gotten so many compliments on some of my creams. Some of my favourites are from L’Occitane, Rituals, Aesop and Grown Alchemist. What are yours?

I didn’t notice much difference in pore size but maybe that will be more noticeable after a few uses 

My skin felt hydrated and velvety after one use. The next day my skin was brighter and I didn’t need as much moisturiser as I normally do.

The only bad this is there isn’t more of it!

I’ve never had softer and more hydrated skin since using this. I even used it as makeup remover accidentally and my makeup melted off, leaving my with the smoothest and softest skin

This sun screen is so lightweight and hydrating, it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing sun cream

As it’s quite light, you don’t immediately feel the instant hydration that you feel with a moisturiser 

It’s amazing for dry skin as it’s very hydrating. I use this for the 7 toner skin routine 

Don’t wear it before makeup because it will cause your foundation to split
