A question from my boyfriend - What is the best thing to put on your face after shaving?

So my boyfriend has been on the skincare journey with me lately and he has oily and acne prone skin. He also burns extremely fast in the sun(he is scandanavian). He shaves like 1-2 times a week and we’re currently trying to figure out what to use before and after shaving his face. Some people use tea tree oil - please don’t 🤭 Would you guys please give suggestions and what you use?

Can I use these two products in my morning routine?

There are so many articles online saying you can or you can’t use niacinamide with vitamin c. The toner has niacinimide in it amoungst many other ingredients so can anyone please help me figure out if I can use these products together?

Cleansing your face in the shower

I once heard someone say that you shouldn’t cleanse your face in the shower and I didn’t question it but I definitely stopped doing it. Is there any truth to this?

Should I use sunscreen and wear heat protectant for my hair when at a bonfire/fireplace?

Stupid question I know but I feel like I’m doing something wrong when having a braai(this is what we call a barbecue in South Africa). Honestly though, I have the fireplace on every day at home. Is it bad for my skin? Should I wear spf? Should I spray heat protectants in my hair before sitting by the fire??? Tell me please 😭

Which moisturizer would be best for after applying my retinol?

I currently use these 2 moisturizers(also tagged): • Purito Centella Unsented Recovery Cream • Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Moist Cream I’m not sure what moisturizer is best to use after I apply my retinol(I usually wait 30mins-1hr to apply moisturizer) By the way I’m using The Ordinary Retinol 0,5% in Squalane at the moment - its just being used as a preventative and to hopefully get rid of some of my fine lines.
