- can be a little sticky and might be heavy for oilier skin types

- contains heartleaf extract as its 1st ingredient instead of water + 15% propolis extract
- evidently this is hella concentrated and i’m all for it
- very viscous and has a funky scent (reminds me of the sk-ii essence if you know how that one smells) 
- i LOVE this for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial benefits! it not only helped to combat my existing breakouts but also made my skin less angry and less prone to further breakouts
- also very moisturising and gives a pretty glow

— If you’re big on fermented ingredients in your skincare, you need to try this! 
(+)  Watery consistency but still has a very slight viscosity to it.
(+)  Very sensitive skin friendly.
(+)  Lightweight and refreshing on the skin but so deeply hydrating and plumping. I like to use it like an essence by patting in 1-2 layers after toner. 

Think of this like a level-up of a hydrating serum, because it also contains ingredients that nourishes at the same time (the snow mushroom capsules that burst upon application). If you find that a regular hydrating serum isn’t enough, you can try this one! 

- Contains EOs, but luckily they did not irrirate my sensitive skin.
- Thankfully did not clog my pores despite containing ethylhexyl palmitate as the first ingredient, smth that i normally avoid
- Has a pretty strong sweet citrusy/fruity scent that can be off-putting for some.
- Quite pricey


TLDR; This is one of the best cleansing balms i’ve tried so far! I love that it delivers on its claims and is also a pleasure to use ~

- I LOVE the texture of the balm. It melts immediately upon the warmth of the skin and turns into the smoothest oil-balm consistency, unlike most other balms that either tend to take some time to melt or are chunky. 
- Rinses off easily without leaving any residue or drying the skin. 
- With consistent use i could noticeably feel my pores being cleaner and smoother. 

Not a bad point, but some may find it boring since it only hydrates/nourishes without other effects. 

Love this! 💕 To put it simply, it has a light texture yet is so hydrating and nourishing (in a good way). A product that definitely deserves more hype. I think that dehydrated &/or dry skin would particularly enjoy this.
