What makeup brand that offer collab / pr

Today, I just feel so frustrated. Every time I come across collaboration opportunities from big brands, they always have the same requirement: “Must be a US resident.” Like, why does it always have to be the US? I see influencers there getting amazing deals, PR packages, and paid campaigns so effortlessly. Meanwhile, here in Malaysia, it feels like a constant uphill battle.

It’s not like I’m not trying. I’m putting in the effort, creating content, and building my platform. But sometimes, it feels like being in Malaysia limits me. Why aren’t there as many opportunities here? Why don’t brands see the potential in influencers from Southeast Asia? It’s so hard to grow and get noticed when the majority of international brands are fixated on one region.

I keep wondering if it’s worth it to keep applying, knowing I’ll get rejected for something I can’t even control. But then again, I know I shouldn’t give up. Maybe one day, I’ll prove to them that I’m worth it—even if I’m not from the US. For now, I guess I’ll just keep working on my content and growing my audience. Who knows, maybe someone out there will recognize my potential.

Even though it’s hard, I have to believe that opportunities will come. I just wish they didn’t feel so far away right now.

Hi, does anyone know how to get K-beauty (makeup) collaborations? I’ve noticed many UGC creators don’t even show their faces yet still manage to secure makeup collaborations. How is that possible? Any tips?

Today, I found myself reflecting on how I’ve never won a giveaway, no matter how many I’ve entered.
