I used to have really oily skin when I was younger. My T-zone and cheeks are very shiny and I had a really hard time maintaining it. But as I got older, my skin suddenly became a lot more drier and more sensitive, especially towards dust ,and my skin's overall state changed a lot. I have nothing bad to say about this product✨😊

I&#39;ve had my my fair share of snail products in the past, from moisturizers to essences, but they&#39;ve never really stood out to me as much despite the hype that this ingredient received, not until I found this essence. Tia&#39;m as a relatively new brand to me but this essence really wow-ed me as I&#39;m using it. But first, let&#39;s take a look at this product&#39;s characteristics.

Product Type: Essence🧴

Beneficial Ingredients🧪:
➡️ 87% Snail Secretion Filtrate
➡️ Azulene Extract
➡️ Butylene Glycol
➡️ Glycerin
➡️ Allantoin
➡️ Beta - Glucan

Packaging📦
Comes in a 180ml cylindrical bottle and is purple in color (which I love so much). The color scheme is very pretty and minimal. The packaging is also straightforward, with the skin concerns and skin types this product is targeted to, written in the label, which is quite useful🧴.

Texture🤲
This essence has a unique texture compared to other snail essences that I have tried. It&#39;s very viscous as expected from a snail product, yet sinks in quickly once applied in the skin which is quite new to me since typically, snail essences takes a long time to be absorbed.😌 It&#39;s lightweight texture makes it also suitable for daytime use🌄.

Scent🌼💐
This essence has a slight sweet scent, kind of like a bubblegum candy smell and it&#39;s really pleasant.

How to Use🧖
Pour the product into your hands, like a toner, and apply it liberally all over the face and neck. You can also layer it for extra hydration☺️.

THE POSITIVES✔️🌼

➡️ IT HELPS CALM THE SKIN
        I&#39;ve used this essence when my skin was undergoing irritation from allergies from the previous products that I have used, alongside stress. At first, I didn&#39;t really notice much of a difference, except that it really helped moisturize my face. But after a week or two, my breakouts started to look a bit less red and the itching has gone down considerably. Azulene and Snail mucin are the star ingredients for this product that are known for calming and healing properties, and I can say that this essence embodied it perfectly.

➡️ IT&#39;S REALLY HYDRATING WITHOUT FEELING THICK OR STUFFY
       Now, one of my pet peeves for snail essences is that they&#39;re really thick on the skin and takes a long time to absorb, which is quite difficult if you&#39;re always on the go. But this essence is is watery and absorbs easily into the skin and I can use it even in warmer weather. It really makes my skin plumper and healthier whenever I&#39;m using it too😊.

        The lightweight texture of this product makes it easy to layer other products from your next skincare steps. It also doesn&#39;t pill which is a plus😁

➡️ IT&#39;S AFFORDABLE
        For the quality and amount that it gives, I can&#39;t believe that it&#39;s not that expensive. This 180ml product only costs about 9-10 dollars🤩. Buying it is really a bang for the buck💸.

None at all. Based on my experience, nothing is wrong with this product.

An organic UV filter without white cast or stickiness. It has a cooling and moisturizing formula and is triple functional with UV protection/whitening/wrinkle improvement benefits. Applies green-grade organic/chemical ingredients free of oxybenzone and octinoxate. It also passed tests conducted by rigid European Cosmetic Regulatory Institution.

Apply it 20-30 minutes before UV exposure. You can reapply as needed. 𝐓𝐢𝐩: If it's too heavy you can use this as the cream for your routine.

𝑻𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕
The sun cream has a greenish tint but disappears upon application. It is very lightweight and leaves behind a dewy finish with no white cast. It also has a mild herbal scent.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔
This product is so light and easy to apply without any white cast despite coming out as green from the tube. My eyes didn't sting at all and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Every time I apply this sun cream, my face feels so soft and nourished. I also like how its finish isn't too shiny and it is non-sticky too as my hair doesn't stick to my face (which is one of my pet peeves). It doesn't pill and is very easy to reapply. I went to the beach with this sun cream on and my face didn't burn up from the sun, which is a very good sign, so I really love that it gives good protection without the greasy feeling. 

❎ The gauze side can be a bit harsh, especially if you&#39;re rubbing it excessively on the skin. So, being gentle is a must, especially those with inflamed pimples or acne.
❎ The fragrance is really strong so it might irritate those that are sensitive to it.
❎ It can be really expensive.

This is my first time using a peeling pad but I had high hopes since it&#39;s from Neogen, one of my favorite brands☺️

Texture👐:
Has two sides, one with a gauze surface and the other with a softer texture. It really soaked in essence that is watery in texture and is tacky when it absorbs.

Scent🌸:
It really smells strongly like grape juice🍇.

How to Use🧖:
Gently glide the gauze side first on dry skin after cleansing. Then you can use the softer side to scrape away the excess dead skin cells removed by the gauze side and tap into the skin for the essence to be absorbed. Then after 10-15 minutes, rinse the product off. Only use it 1-2 times a week. I recommend doing this at night and wear sunscreen in the morning since it is an AHA product.

What I Liked♥️:
✔️ This product is really easy to use and more gentler than other physical exfoliators, such as scrubs.
✔️It really made my skin a lot more softer and smoother. The exfoliating pad is really effective in sloughing away the layers of dead skin that are sitting on my face and helps even out its texture.
✔️Since it is an AHA product, it helps in brightening my skin.
✔️I&#39;ve noticed that my acne also became less active after using this product.

The Negatives❎:
I have to be honest, this product isn&#39;t as bad as I expected but I think that its cons outweighs its pros and it is a product that is surely unsuitable for a lot of skintypes.

❎It&#39;s tacky and greasy🛢️
     This is my number one pet peeve when it comes to moisturizers. I hate how there is so much oil that accumulates in my face whenever I use it and it&#39;s so sticky to the point that my hair is sticking in my face☹️. It&#39;s texture also makes it unsuitable for day use since it just becomes a greasy mess at the end of the day⛅.

❎ The fragrance💫
     The scent is sooo strong. My skin isn&#39;t actually sensitive when it comes to fragrances, but its quite worrying that the fragrance on this cream is prominent so it might irritate those with a more sensitive skin type. Some of my friends even developed a small case of acne after using this product🙎.

❎ It can&#39;t be layered🧴
     I actually tried to layer moisturizers before I apply it, but what happens is that it kind off dilutes(?) and just turns a bit watery. There&#39;s even a time where it pilled badly, reminiscent of peeling gels🙁 which made my skin itch. In short, this product is only suitable when it&#39;s the only other product in your routine.

The Nivea Creme is considered as one of the skincare classics with it being a staple moisturizer during my grandma&#39;s time👵. Despite the varied reviews that this product received throughout the years with its rather outdated formulation, needless to say I was quite surprised that it worked quite well for me✨.

➡️ Is white in color and has a thick and creamy texture. It&#39;s also a bit sticky and tacky especially if you spread it across the skin.

Would Repurchase? NO

Claims📝:
➡️ Moisturizing, due to its thick texture and can be used as an occlusive to lock in the moisture🧴.

My Personal Experience (The Positives☑️):
☑️ I bought this product as a desperate attempt to alleviate the prominent dry patches on my face due to the cold weather of the holiday season so I wasn&#39;t expecting that much from it. However, it exceeded my expectations. The product has a thick and sticky texture and can be quite difficult to apply all over the face, so I recommend rubbing in a small amount on your fingers or hands so it&#39;s easily spreadable. I really love how soft and smooth my skin feels after waking up in the morning. Since it has a thicker consistency, the hydration that it gives is a lot and can withstand even the harshest cold environments. It even helped moisturize my hands, which is the driest part of my body and helped get rid of dry patches☺️.

☑️ Although this product is thick, it never really irritated me, which is a plus👍.

☑️ The price range is also affordable even though it comes in a huge tin can. This is the type of product that takes a really long time to use up so for sure it&#39;ll last for a very long time🕜

THE CONS❎

❎ It&#39;s too greasy, heavy and, tacky for my skin. Even if I have a drier skin type, this sunscreen just feels so uncomfortable and sticky, to the point that my hair always sticks to my face😐. The discomfort then amplifies on warmer weather since it really feels like a film is stuck on your face.
❎ The fragrance❇️. Good lord, the fragrance on this thing is too strong. I usually like the scent of aloe vera and I&#39;m not really sensitive to fragrances either, but the fragrance on this thing was too overpowering that I always contemplate on whether I stop wearing sunscreen altogether😣
❎ It was embroiled in a fiasco with the FDA. Weeks after I bought this sunscreen, I unluckily found out that the local FDA wants this product to be pulled off the shelves. The news just made me more sceptical if the SPF claims that they have with this product are actually true, especially since Asian sunscreens at the time were under fire for misinformed SPF levels plus this sunscreen never released a statement in regards to the accuracy of their claims. But if it&#39;s resolved, just let me know☺️
❎ It tanned my face⛅ Now speaking of FDA levels, although this can be subjective, but my skin just tanned even if I have this product on when I go out, further fueling my doubts about it.
❎ It stung my eyes. I have tried a number of sun products in the past, and this is the first time that my eyes stung. I always end up teary eyed whenever I use this sunblock.

Other Thoughts💭:
➡️ Overall, this product could have been better since it has an attractive price and size. If only the formulation is better or that if they&#39;ve avoided encountering problems with the FDA, I might have trusted the brand more. This just proved the notion that cheaper is not better and I recommend that it would be better for future buyers to invest on a more reliable and trusted sun product than this one.

If I have to describe this sunscreen, it would be through the words: &quot;Ambitious, but doesn&#39;t live up to what it hoped.&quot; I think it&#39;s quite decent especially since it doesn&#39;t put a dent on your budget, but I think it would be better to look for alternatives instead. But before I delve onto it&#39;s problems, let&#39;s take a look first at its positives:

➡️ The product comes out white from the tube so it might look scary at first, but once you spread it out, the white color disappears as it&#39;s absorbed.

THE PROS✔️

☑️ It&#39;s really cheap, like dirt cheap when you compare the size of the product with the price. For a student on budget, the price tag was perfect for me.
☑️ As I have mentioned, the product comes in a 100ml amount which is quite unusual for an entry size for a sunblock since most sunblock has sizes that ranges 50ml or below but with higher prices.
☑️ It has a cooling sensation upon application, probably due to the aloe vera extract in it, plus it&#39;s alcohol and paraben-free.
☑️ Minimal white cast, so darker skinned gals would surely like how it doesn&#39;t make their skin look paler than their natural skin color.
