Unfortunately, I didn't really notice any brightening of my dark circles, but they could just be so bad that they're a lost cause haha. So if that's what you're especially aiming for, you might want to look elsewhere - but if you're just looking for a light, daily eye cream with antioxidants, I highly recommend giving this a go!

This was probably my favorite out of the OOTD products I tried, even though I was most nervous about it! I have sensitive skin, especially around the eye area, but I've also had dark circles since forever (not hereditary, I just don't get enough sleep haha) so I wanted to give it a try. This has a light gel texture that absorbs quickly, deeply hydrated my under eye area, and sat surprisingly well under other skincare and makeup. I was really pleasantly surprised to find that I had zero irritation to this product, even after using it every morning - I'm usually unable to use vitamin C or eye creams every day.

While I was really excited for the packaging (my first time using this kind!!), this particular one had its downfalls - for some reason, there were several times times when I wasn't able to push out any cream, no matter how many times I tried. I imagine this has to do with the cream inside shifting...? It didn't happen all the time, but enough times that made me question if I got a faulty product and whether I'd buy this again. It's unfortunate because the product itself is so nice!

The texture of this is so good!! It's really moisturizing without being heavy or sticky, something that seems difficult to find in barrier creams. If you have really sensitive oily-combo skin and you're looking for a gentle barrier cream that doesn't make your face an oil slick, this is IT. I liked using this on nights when my skin was irritated, and while it wasn't super soothing, I don't think that's really its purpose so it was fine with me - instead, it wraps your skin in a light, protective hug so it can heal itself. Come morning, you'll wake up with plump, perfectly moisturized skin.

Although (and maybe because) it's fragrance-free, the ingredients did make it smell faintly like hand sanitizer, at least to me, which might affect user experience for some people, if that's important to you. I didn't really notice any brightening effects, but it could be because it's so gentle. As other people have mentioned, it's also in a clear bottle so oxidation might be an issue, though I haven't noticed it yet - the stopper seems to be very tightly sealed when closed, so that (+ refrigeration, if you want) should help!

Surprisingly gentle vitamin C serum that was easy to use, in a sturdy, aesthetically pleasing glass bottle. Although the texture's thick and viscous, it's not sticky and sat well under the rest of my skincare and makeup! Fragrance-free and should work for all skin types.

Usually I can find something, but it's difficult with this product...I guess for maximum portability, it'd be nice to be able to store the spatula in the lid so we don't lose it, but that's honestly nitpicking!

This is my second time trying this cream, and it's just as good as I remember! It's a light gel cream that's surprisingly moisturizing and feels like a gentle, velvety hug for an irritated skin barrier. I really feel like it helps with calming the skin down, and it works surprisingly well even under makeup. I also really love the packaging - the spatula has a useful design that I've never seen before!

The only thing that stood out to me was the heavy fragrance. Eventually I got used to it, but it was definitely a bit off-putting at first for someone who's used to fragrance-free skincare! The scent is a citrus version of the fragrance you usually find in kbeauty products targeting an older audience (you know the one!). Personally, the effects of the cream are enough for me to overlook the scent, but I can see this being too much for those who are really sensitive to fragrance. The price of this also is a bit hefty (~$50usd depending on where you look), so while it's not a luxury product it's not exactly budget-friendly either.

I liked this way more than I thought I would, actually! I knew this was an anti-aging cream famous in Korea for helping to target hyperpigmentation. Because of this, I was both hopeful and worried - hopeful for its effects but also worried about it being too strong for my sensitive skin. After testing it for more than two weeks, I've noticed significant brightening overall, though it hasn't seemed to fade my acne scars or hyperpigmentation yet. I'm generally sensitive to niacinamide, but my skin was surprisingly okay with this formulation! I found this to work really well as a night cream for my dry-leaning combo skin in the summer (dry climate). The texture is definitely moisturizing without being too heavy - it's silky and melts into your skin easily.
