Hi! I recently purchased the paula’s choice azelaic acid and i used it as a spot treatment once or twice a day. I did this for two days cause i suddenly got large cysts around where i usually get them, and also where i used the product. I think it caused a damaged barrier cause any product i put on, or even water makes my skin buuuurn.

My question is, can azelaic acid cause over exfoliation? Perhaps it was the salicylic acid my skin didnt like. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Azelaic acid?

It made my skin dry and flaky after more than 2 days of using, i used this with Mary Kays cleanser in this line of skincare products. I have combination skin, so it was strange being THAT dry

It made my combination skin soooo dry, my skin started to flake so bad, and stopped when i stopped using this product and the clearproof set. Sorry but would not recommend to people, regardless of skintype and skin issues.
