I’ve been interested in trying cushion foundations, but while researching; I’ve learned a good chunk of them tend to either transfer easily or have bad oxidation. If you have tried cushion foundations before what would you recommend? 

I’m looking for a cool tone color, however; I noticed some will label a specific shade as cool tone-and it still shows up yellow on me

What are your favorites? Personally, my favorite brand is Medicube. I have a few of their products and two of their skincare devices. The devices are quite the investment but holy grail are they worth it. I have to write a review on the air shot. 

I’m currently looking for toners and products that helps with redness, brighting would also be a plus. My skin if very oily and I’m finicky on texture. That may seem really weird but if something has a texture I don’t like I will never use it again. 

Are there any brands or specific products that are relatively lightweight that you would like to recommend?

Cons:
- Retails for 24$ when not on sale, which may be too pricey for most
- Personal con: I just didn’t like it, I feel like a moisturizer could give me the same result

My Experience:
It’s translucent and liquid when you put it on,  put when it dries it comes off as a thin mask and is very shiny. It does make your skin look like “glass skin” when you take the mask off. 


-It can be too light weight depending on your application (ex. Misting or application by pad/hand)
- Not travel size friendly. I really do love this product but I can’t easily bring it with me wherever I go
-It doesn’t come with a spray cap, so if you want to use it as a mist, you have to improvise 
- very watery 

-moisturizing, leaves your skin feeling refreshed and clean
- keeps with the appearance of my pores. I naturally have large pores, after I spray this on my face and pat it in, they seem to close up
- Not greasy or heavy, very oily friendly 
- great for sensitive skin
- calms down my skin when experiencing irritation 
- improved the texture of my skin
-inexpensive!

-If this is your daily moisturizer, it can run out quickly. The smallest size sold is a 50mL jar. Which is a good size but if you’re using this everyday as your main moisturizer it can empty rather quickly. Another issue is that it retails for about 24$ for the 50mL and around 48 for a 100mL. This can be a little too pricey for product that can run out  rather quickly 
- A little bit of fragrance, I myself don’t mind it but it is noticeable. I’m not sure if it’s the moisturizer itself or the jar but once the moisturizer is on my skin I don’t notice it
- may be slightly sticky

- contains good-for-skin ingredients like rice bran water, ginseng water, squalane, and niacinamide
-A subtle and glowy finish that looks natural and healthy 
-using gentle patting motions until it was absorbed, I find that to be the best application. I was able to achieve a “glass skin” effect when using this
- oily skin friendly, it doesn’t feel greasy!


The downsides: 
- PRICE: This thing isn’t cheap! Before you buy it, you definitely need to make you’re that one: you’re actually going to use it and two: you really want the product. This device is a bit of an investment
- The stinging!: it is high voltage electricity! That’s why I recommend you start on level one. Your skin needs to get used to it because this can zap!

Who and what is it used for: 
This device is more like a 2 in 1. Although it is marketed as a needle- free derma treatment, it also helps accelerate or enhance absorption of other products. 

All you need to start with is a clean face and watch the tutorial on how to use it. The device automatically turns off after five minutes, but from my experience you don’t need the full five minutes. 

My Experience: 
Absolutely one of the best Investments I’ve ever made for my skin. I am an oily and sensitive person and happen to have large pores. It’s very hard to find products that give me a long lasting effect when it comes to reducing the appearance of my pores. However, after researching this product I decided to take a leap of faith and trust the brand. This one purchase encouraged me to buy other products from Medicube. 

I only used this device for an average of 3 minutes per use and routinely used it for 1-2x a week. It’s been over a year since I got the device and I live by it. 

I will advise that you:
- Don’t use it for more than 2x a day
- Do not hover over the same spot on your face
- Do not use after procedures done to your face
- Do not use near eyes, Adam’s Apple, and philtrum 
- When first starting out, USE LEVEL ONE

Conclusion: 
This is definitely worth your money if you want a safe option for pore care and/ or a device that allows your skincare to absorb deeper into the skin. It’s not something you have to continually buy, and even if you loose the charger it can easily be replaced with a usb c charger


* it’s snail Mucin so it’s a bit tacky. I don’t really like the feeling of it but if you’re about to apply makeup the tackiness may actually help.
* it’s pretty runny, it doesn’t bother me that much. However, it’s easy to go through the bottle

Experience:
I’ve been using this product for about 3 weeks, honestly I really like it. Here’s why: although I have oily skin, when I apply the snail mucin it doesn’t feel heavy. It absorbs quickly and it seems to take a liking to acne. My skin is very acne prone, while using this product it’s been fighting off the breakouts and it does it rather quickly. I wasn’t expecting that to happen, but it may be because of the wound healing aspect of the snail Mucin. 

It does have Hyaluronic acid, and upon experimenting I’ve learned this product works well with tretinoin. My skin feels soft and refreshed after putting it on.
