Hi All.
I'm currently helping to care for a parent that has been undergoing a number of different cancer treatments. 
The next (and final set of) treatments will leave them radioactive for a few days after each appt.
I'm supposed to be as far away from them as possible, but they will still have to be transported home (farthest away is a back seat).
Has anyone assisted someone who has been radioactive before? Did you change skincare?
It's probably silly to ask if there is a better type of cleanser for this type of exposure, but I'm just looking for any insight.

Skincare for Caregiver-Radioactive patient

I was having a discussion with some friends, and the topic of skincare came up.
They aren't interested in keeping up with online accounts, but they know that I am active.

I said that I try to review new products, but that I also review products that have been around awhile - meaning: 

a) I may have bought them when they were the hot new item, but I had other things to get through in my stash first (because of expiration or skin need)

b) I recently got them at a great discount

They thought that people are probably only interested in finding out about new products.

It made me wonder if that was completely true.

Is everyone here only interested in reading reviews on the new items, or are older products still interesting to people?

I haven't been able to use every product in existence, so I am still using/trying products that have been out in the market in the past too.

Trust me, I love being the first to try something new - but - I love being able to try products that caught my eye in the past as well.

I still look at all products, so I am hoping that might be true of others! 🤞

I love my little (travel friendly) pumpkin pack sachets!
The box comes with 16 little orange packets & a lovely mask brush.

The product has a really nice gel consistency, and smells like delicious honey.
It absorbs into my skin well. There is a slight tackiness for about a minute, but that goes away quickly.
My skin has such a wonderful glow during and after use.

The mask also leaves my skin extremely hydrated & plump in the morning.
I normally use it as a sleeping mask.

I am able to get 2-3 uses from each packet.

Key Ingredients:
Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Fruit Extract - strengthens the skin structure, and helps recover damaged or dehydrated skin.
Honey Extract -calms irritated skin by providing a soothing effect.
Royal Jelly Extract - can help treat and prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
Propolis Extract - smooths out wrinkles and has anti-aging properties.

I fell in love with this serum almost immediately.
It is so hydrating.

The serum absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave behind any tacky residue.

It leaves my skin with a lovely dewy glow.
It also plumps up my skin to help diminish my fine lines.

I didn't find it heavy in the summer, but I am really looking forward to using this in the winter.

There is no scent to this product that I could detect.

The consistency of this cream is so divine.
It is a lightweight gel, and it absorbs easily.

It just sinks in, and it leaves behind soft and healthy skin.
There is subtle glow that never crosses over into shiny territory 
(which I worry about with my oily skin).

There is no tackiness.
I also don't detect a strong scent either.

I have had an ongoing romance with the lip sleeping mask from Laneige for quite a while.
It all began with [Apple Lime] during the mask wearing of the pandemic- which dried out my lips. I've gone through several [Ice Peach Tea, Berry, etc], and still have more in my stash!

I am currently using [Gummy Bear].

I slather this lip mask on before bed, and I wake up to such lovely soft lips.
I'm a back sleeper, occasionally on my side, and I never find any product that has strayed to other parts of my face or pillow. I usually have a thin layer still on my lips when I get up.

This treatment makes my lips feel smoother & healthier.
I can't remember the last time I felt chapped lips!

I sometimes will also put a little on before I leave the house, as it also gives me a little tint of color.

Murumuru Seed Butter - incredibly moisturizing, and can minimize fine lines

This has become one of my favorite toners.

The toner is a very light, pale yellow.
It has a lovely bergamot scent (and I usually always have a craving for an earl grey tea after use 🤭).

It absorbs into the skin very quickly. Once dry, there is no trace of tackiness.
I was surprised by how hydrating it is, and I absolutely love how brightening it is.

This toner gives my skin a lovely glow, while making it look smooth and even.

It also regulates oil production & pH levels.

I absolutely love it!
I sometimes use 1 layer, while other days I will add an additional 1 - 2 layers of toner.

Key Ingredients:

💛Peony Extract - antibacterial. Treats skin irritation, as well as soothes. Helps smooth, even, and tone.
