I’m looking for a lightweight hydrating moisturizer! 
I feel like there are so many offers that I don’t even know what to pick. I’m just looking for a simple product suitable for daily use. 
Please share with me your faves and your recommendations 🫶🏻 

So this is my current PM routine. Although I have been using this moisturizer for probably a year, I sometimes feel like it’s too heavy and so maybe it’s time to try a new one. 

My skin is normal to dry. (So not very dry)

Hello! Any opinions on facial self tanners? What are your faves?
I can’t tan my face so I’m already noticing a big difference in the color of my face and body…
I have never tried any facial self tanner and I confess that I’m a bit scared of breaking out and getting a patchy or orange result 🫢

Hey 😊 So I recently saw this episode of HBO’s “Not so Pretty” where they bring awareness to the dangers of talc in our makeup & skincare products. 
If you are not up to date, basically talc is formed alongside asbestos & it’s very hard to separate them, therefore tiny (but in some cases millions of) particles of asbestos are usually found in products that contain talc. The problem is, asbestos is extremely cancerigenous. Because of this, the use of products with talc have been directly linked with cancer.

The show made me curious whether the products I’m using have Talc in it. Although my skincare products don’t, I found that several of my makeup products contain talc, some in very high concentrations. I am planning on replacing some of these products, especially the ones that I use more frequently, like my fav bronzer.

I also found that quite a lot of skincare products that people love here on picky have talc in it! And are marked as safe.

What are your thoughts on all of this?

Afraid of talc?

My order from Stylevana has arrived today! 🥳

I bought the Benton Aloe BHA toner, Rovectin Lotus Water Cream, B-Lab Matcha Cleanser and the Petitfee Spot patches. — I will be using all of them for the first time.
Was offered these two samples - really excited to try the Isntree mugwort mask 👀

I made my order on the 13th September and it arrived today (4th october). I live in Portugal. I think it could be quicker BUT I still find it a reasonable time.
This was my 2nd time ordering from them (both with insured shipping) and I have zero reasons to complain. On the contrary, I’m super happy with them
BONUS: packed well and secure!

However, I have been seeing that many people have problems with them and never get their orders… 
Have you had any problem with this shop?

This product does not do its job. It just takes soooo long to remove makeup. 
Tried it about 3 or 4 times, with different types of makeup and applying the product in different ways. 
Not worth the money.

Leaves a smooth, silky skin. Nice smell and super gentle.

It is a bit pricey. I would enjoy more product for the price. 

Heavy-ish moisturizer. 
- LRP discontinued toleriane ultra creme & this came to replace it. 
- Despite being marketed as the same thing, the ingredient list changed! This concerned me. Why: i loved the old formula + the first time i used it my skin got iritated & i couldn’t find enough info about the new ingredients. BUT this never happened again, so it was probably a coincidence. 
- My skin is loving this moisturizer ❤️ I use it every single night. Its a HG for me.  
- I LOVE this packaging. It seems to squeeze most product out + has some sort of science behind it that helps with contamination issues

Although this is is marketed as “gentle”, i wouldn’t say the same. I use it 1x per week max. 
1st: strong fragrance. 
2nd: i insisted a little more on the nose area, where i had a few blackheads: skin imediatly got red and breaked out next day —  so it can be stripping
3rd: skin sometimes feels super itchy and with redness after using.

Overall: too harsh for my sensitive skin

Not the best at removing makeup. If i have heavy eye makeup i cant use it, otherwise my eyes get iritated from the excessive rubbing.

Super gentle to the skin. 
It removes dirt/oil with little to no effort. 
Good at removing light makeup.

Tip: i buy the package with the pump applicator and find that it saves a lot of product from going to waste. It lasts much longer so you end up saving money too.

I’m on my second bottle, so these negative points do not keep me from repurchasing it.
- I don’t like the packaging. It is very easy to squeeze out much more product than what is actually needed.
- It has a pasty consistence but sometimes it comes out kind of watery and I can’t figure out why…

I use it as a second cleanser. Leaves the skin clean and smooth. I have not experienced any tightness or sensitivity with this product. 
Affordable! 
No noticeable scent.
