I have oily to combination skin on my face but when it comes to my hands, they are VERY VERY DRY.

 I think partly it is due to the fact that I’ve been using hand sanitizer more often and washing my hands with harsher soap (I use Dettol ), and partly because before I got into skincare I just didn’t care about moisturizing my hands and often cleaned dishes without gloves. 

My hands are not only dry but they also have deep lines on them and very rough. Every now and then I feel a slight pain and need to apply moisturizer. 

I tried quite a lot of method but none of them actually help my hands to become healthier…

I tried: 

1) Vaseline coated hands at night (I really don’t enjoy the sensation of slimy petroleum jelly on my hands ….so if you can recommend non- sticky method, it will be very much appreciated!)

2) apply oil + moisturiser 
I tried squalane, marula, and tamanu oil… 
And the moisturizer I use is illyoon ato ceramide cream (I love applying that on my face during winter but it’s not quite enough for my hands) and urea-based moisturizers…. 

Do you have dry hands??? Any advice or any good hand skincare you usually use??

I am using a peptide night serum from Klairs for about two weeks and I honestly didn’t know what it do for my skin. It feels like a pigmented water just trickling down my face… but that wasn’t the main issue. I’m wondering what i can or cannot pair with it…

Can I pair such serum with an acid, like use it after my exfoliation and vitamin c? 

Does anyone have experience with this particular serum or other peptide serum? Are they effective?

Omg i am over the moon 🌝!!! BAESIX GA ARRIVED

My skin is a little bit irritated the first few days of usage, I think it is due to the amount of essential oil that comes with it... and these essential oil makes the product smell really weird (like alcohol, but it doesn&#39;t contain any alcohol, and a little bit like carrot, but I hate carrots) 

The pads does not come with a little clip, which makes it hard to take the pads out (especially these pads are so pillowy)

Star ingredients:
Carrot Root Extract (Beta-carotene: for antioxidants and skin-regeneration)
Beta-glucan: soothing

Texture: 

super soft and thick pads, feels like a pillow of toner. The toner itself is non-sticky and quite watery. 

How it works for my skin:

I mainly used these pads as mini-masks and left them on my face for about 5-10 minutes.

As these pads are super thick, it can be torn into two sides, which still provides sufficient moisture for usage as a mask. 

⚠️The first few times I used it I noticed that my skin is a little bit red afterwards, not sure if it is because of the pads (some essential oils) or other skincare that I have put on that day. 

After a few uses, my skin doesn&#39;t turn red after use, which is quite reassuring. 👌
My skin is deeply hydrated and cooled down, which in turn helps my skin to be less oily for a couple of hours. It is really relaxing (somehow more relaxing than a real mask as I don&#39;t need to worry about essence dripping everywhere). The pads served as a mild exfoliation. 

I noticed that the pads are still highly saturated with toner after masking (I can literally still squeeze water out of the pads). 💦💦

- Would I recommend: 
Hmmmm.... 
It&#39;s a difficult question to answer, but I will try...
I have not used soothing pads before (only exfoliation), so I am quite surprised by its effect after use. I have heard that its size (really big, cover the whole cheek) and texture (thick) are one of its kind among the toner pads. 
I have personally repurchased this item (TWICE lol.)

Buy if... 
- your skin is not super sensitive (I know that the pads passed the hypoallergenic tests, but the first few days of experience makes me more careful in recommending)
- you want to use this as a mask (A lot of toner pads out there advertised as soothing and calming, although I personally have not tried them, I believed there are cheaper options out there. HOWEVER, if you want to use this as a quick mask, I would recommend, given that you can use one for both cheeks and two for the whole face, you actually save more this way)

Expensive for a small bottle 💸💸

And i am suspecting they are going to reformulate this … cant find the original in OLIVEYOUNG 😳😳😳

- no white cast ⚪️⚪️⚪️
- does not form into a thick layer after long time ( some sunscreen do this!!! After they sit on the dkin for a bit, they form kind of a white residue that can be scratched off with finger nails and kind of suffocating despite the initial ease of application, i really appreciate that does not happen with this product) 😌😌😌
- motivate me to reach for it each day ( consistency is key so i rate the sunscreen that drew me into the most highly) 💪💪💪
- great ingredient list (it contains a plethora of good skin conditioning ingredients including  green tea and leaf extract) - i love a good multi task skincare product ❤️❤️❤️

I didn’t see anything impressive about this essence.
I didn’t see any effect, when you talk about a ginseng as the main ingredient,  I expect it to Be REVITALISING and PLUMPING, but unfortunately it doesn’t deliver. Honestly though it also said containing niacinamide and Adenosine to help control sebum production, but I see no effect of that as well. 

Don’t get me wrong it is still an ok essence but it just doesn’t do what it says it does.

It is an okay Essence. Is texture is quite watery contrary to  my expectation of an essence.

it has a normal rate of absorption which is quite okay. 

The only thing I can ascertain that this essence does was hydration, it is easily layerable because of its  watery texture.

However, this product starts oxidized real quick, when it arrived, the serum is all clear but just after two weeks, it starts slowly yellowing (the first bottle when I didn’t put it in the fridge). Although this is common easy in all vitamin C products, this should be one of the things to consider before purchasing this item. 

For my second bottle, I have put it in the fridge and the oxidization slowed down, however, it still doesn’t get HG status because I hate going to the fridge to apply it when I am doing skincare and I think product should be able to stabilize the formula instead of relying users to store it specially.

I am not new to vitamin C before using this product so I think the result would not be as drastic as first time users.
 I still see gradual results, like some of my longtime acne scars slowly starts to fade and after long time use (I am using my second bottle), my overall skin tone is brighter than before. 

The texture is watery (though when working it in, I can feel some oil content), and can be quickly absorbed. I used this in the morning as the only serum I put on and use sunscreen after a light moisturizer. 

It does not smell like sausage water or metallic, which I smelt when using Drunk elephant or The Ordinary vitamin C serum. 

Another advantage is its price cheaper than other products with such high vitamin C content (get during discount – I get this when by wishtrend is doing a buy one get one sale).

👎 Unfortunately, I did experience some breakouts after using this product, which was disappointing. While I can't say for sure if the ampoule was the cause of my breakouts, I do think it's possible, as it was the only new product I added to my routine at the time. 😕

💰 Additionally, the price of the ampoule is a bit steep compared to some other options on the market, and I'm not sure if I would purchase it again at this price point. 🤔

🤔 As a big fan of Rovectin, I really wanted to love the Skin Essentials Cica Care Clearing Ampoule. I was so excited at its new launch. However, my experience with this product was a bit mixed. 🤷‍♀️

👍 On the positive side, the ampoule is packed with great ingredients like centella asiatica extract and niacinamide, which are known for their calming and brightening properties. The texture of the ampoule is also nice and lightweight, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. 🌿💆‍♀️
