Money as part of skin care routine?

I miss those times where threads on Picky give a real thought of quality content instead of users posting discussion driven by points earned. 

☹️ I mean I don’t want to throw shade to anyone but I’m afraid with the increasing number of users on the app, some may just use Picky because of the points, rewards, and giveaways.

Henlo! I’m looking for cleansers that have acne fighting ingredient, soothing, and budget friendly that is suited for oily skin.

Do you know any products that are misuse by many?

For me, it is nose strips 😅 people thought that it can disappear your blackheads but it’s just literally a tape. In microscopic view, this strip practically takes nothing off. Even worse, they can make your pores more visible because they were only strong enough to pull your blackheads closer to your skin surface.

• I couldn’t think of anything bad about this product 

• the very first AHA BHA product I tried on my skin and I have no regrets testing this out

• it is gentle for beginners inspite of having 10% acid; I experienced a normal reaction (whiteheads appeared the next day after the first night) and it took me a third tries before my skin get used to the acid (no more reaction at this point)

• I started from twice a week for a month before jumping to thrice a week; when I reached the 6 months benchmark I sometimes use it four times a week and my skin is still fine

• definitely considered this as my holy grail from someone who is combatting acne, marks, hyperpigmentation, and sebum production- it is an all in one of my skin concerns plus it is super afforable for the amount and concentration of the product 😍

• highly recommended for oily acne prone people- it helped me a big time to keep my acnes at bay but not acne free and i’m not complaining 

• PAO is only 3 months 😠 you only need 2-3 drops of this for your entire face, and the product doesn’t empty easily; wasn’t able to finish mine and it still had 1&#47;4 of product left. I hope TO will increase the PAO. 

• Too oily on humid days which is why I only use little amount so that it won’t be too excessive.

• Effect may take longer to some users and can be hit or miss. I believe you should stick with this longer to see significant result.

• This product has a competitive price point among all the beginner-friendly retinol in the market. 

• Really gentle since I haven’t experienced purging even on daily use by applying the sandwhich method. 

• The prominent effect I noticed after using this for 3 months was: it made the creases under my eyes less visible due to sun damage. 🥰 
 
• As for pimples, though it did not made me acne free yet I got less new pimples during the period of use.

• For hyperpigmentation, it is a bit slow in lightening it yet the progress is still there. 

• Since this is oil based, it leaves my skin hydrated and moisturize. Economically wise as well because I don’t have to use so much moisturizer.

☁️ Pricy for my budget.
☁️ A bit sticky when applied after a minute that maybe bothering for some people.

☁️ Packaging is everything. I love their choices with the color and airless pump making sure that all product is used up and nothing is wasted.
☁️ Experienced slight reaction with whiteheads appearing around my nose when I didn’t do the sandwich method but my skin got used to it after a week even without doing the method. 
☁️ My moisturizer greatly pairs with this as it is easier to smear on my skin due to the sticky texture of the bakuchiol.
☁️ There is a slight hint of plant based smell which I don’t mind.
☁️ I noticed significant difference after using it consecutively for three weeks. My skin was brighter every morning and my PIE / PHA was lighter.

☀️ Pricey for my budget
☀️ Not moisturizing enough compare to other sunscreen. My skin is a bit dry before I apply my makeup.

☀️ I anticipated trying out this sunscreen. This is my first product from Dear, Klairs to try! 
☀️ Product is in a squeezable 50g tube and inside is the yummy yellow in color sunscreen
☀️ A bit dewy but lightweight and easily absorbed by skin. It easily glides when you spread it on your face. 
☀️ I noticed minimal breakouts on my first application which bothered me a little. Maybe because this contains niacinamide and my skin love hate that ingredient. Luckily, it subsided after few days.
☀️ No fragrance and white cast at all! Plus it doesn’t sting my eyes which is handful.
☀️ My oily skin can tolerate it under PH weather.

🍇 Use this with caution, especially for oily skin, as it may feel heavy when layered with other thick products.
🍇 Causes my skin to be oily. 

🍇 The cream lives up to its claim for moisturized and supple-looking skin. I've observed that my skin appears brighter and smooth. 
🍇 Despite containing Vitis Vinifera (Grape) skin extract, there is no noticeable fragrance, and the texture is lightweight upon application.
🍇 Infused with panthenol and peptides, it proves beneficial for individuals with compromised skin barriers.
🍇 For individuals with oily skin like mine, a small amount is sufficient for the entire face.
