Learning to layer products effectively can be challenging for skincare beginners. I definitely struggled with it until I began using this chart. I wanted to share it here for anyone who may be having issues with their routine's product sequence.

I love that it goes beyond just listing the order to apply products in. It also recommends what time of day and how often they can be used. It even includes extras like sheet masks, wash off masks, exfoliants, and sleep masks.

If you're like me and have seen many products containing plant stem cells lately, but have no idea what that even means, I found a really helpful article that breaks it all down.
Byrdie published this in February. It's a basic overview of what stem cells are and how they work. It focuses on skin benefits, anti-aging capabilities and also mentions how this technology can evolve over time.

Stem Cells in Skincare

Learning which skincare products are safe to use together can be intimidating and complicated. I find these charts helpful when building a routine and maybe some of you will too.

Helpful Skincare Ingredients Chart

I was scrolling Amazon and found a listing for Vue De Pulang Frozen Cream Cica Cubes. The product is a gel moisturizer with Cica, Hyaluronic Acid, Betula Alba Juice, and Glacial Water. It comes in both a jar and a travel version with individually wrapped, single-use packs. I've never heard of this product (or this brand) before.
But the coolest part...
You can put this stuff in the freezer and it changes from a gel to a slushy, sherbet-like texture!
This would be amazing for summer! You could use this after swimming, gardening, working out, while traveling, etc. I think it would feel so refreshing and cooling.
This is such a cool product! It's also under $20.
Have any of you tried this stuff? Anybody else think this is the best idea ever???

Coolest Product Ever???

This product has a slight herbal fragrance that I find unpleasant. It does dissipate quickly after applying.

I received this product for free from Picky and Benton in exchange for my honest review. The main ingredient in this product is bakuchiol, which is a alternative to retinol. Bakuchiol is known to offer the same anti aging benefits as retinoids without the unpleasant side effects. 
This product has a 2.5% concentration of  plant derived bakuchiol. It also contains niacinamide, mugwort oil, and bitter orange flower extract. These ingredients offer brightening, smoothing, anti-aging, firming, lifting, and skin barrier boosting benefits.
This product has a natural orange color, smooth consistency and lightweight feel on skin. It's also incredibly gentle. I haven't experienced any dryness, redness, irritation, flaking, or skin purging side effects that are common with retinoids. 
I have areas of discoloration and fine lines on my face. After using this product I have noticed my skin is brighter, more even, and my skin has a firmer, smoother appearance. I have also begun to see improvement in the appearance of fine lines as well. 
If you want the results of retinol but can't tolerate the side effects, this is an excellent alternative.

Besides the fact that I'll eventually run out of it? Nothing. Nada. Not a single thing.

This cream cleanser is formulated with amino acids, salicylic acid, and uses dandelion postbiome technology to gently exfoliate, control oil production, unclog pores and restore pH balance. It's a clean, organic, vegan, and cruelty free product and is safe for use on sensitive skin.

This cleanser creates a thick, rich foam; a little goes a long way, so don't go overboard. I love how silky this feels on my face! After rinsing, my skin was noticably hydrated and softer. My skin has been much less oily while using this product, my makeup lasts longer and my T-Zone isn't shiny by lunchtime. The gentle exfoliating action has relieved some dullness and brightened my face. I've also noticed some pore shrinkage.

To sum it all up, this cleanser is packed with skin nourishing ingredients, feels like a silky dream on the skin, won't harm your moisture barrier, and gives you softer, clearer, glowier skin. It's pretty close to perfect and you should most definitely try it for yourself.

The tightening sensation you experience shouldn't be underestimated. This isn't going to be for everyone! It's a strange feeling that's difficult to describe. Your skin has a stiff, tight, feeling that makes it almost impossible to talk or make normal facial expressions. It's not painful at all, but it's not exactly pleasant.
Also, use caution when opening the powder and mixing in the activator. It's very finely ground and it's easy for it blow out of the pack.
Another tip I learned the hard way, DON'T let this get into your eyebrows or hairline! When dry, it will pull and tug at every hair!

This powerhouse treatment is perfect for combating signs of aging such as, fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and loss of elasticity. It also helps combat dry skin and large pores. 
The ingredients include; Albumin(a substance found in eggs) that helps improve elasticity and lift saggy skin, Centella Asiatica extract to soothe and moisturize, and Aloe extract to soothe and calm skin.
The product includes individually wrapped packs of  powder base and a liquid activator and a brush for mixing and applying the pack to your face. When you're ready to use, just add one packet of activator liquid to the powder, stir, apply to clean skin, let sit for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse well.
I was unprepared for the intensity of this facial pack! If you love products that you can really feel working, this will be your new favorite. As soon as it begins to dry there's a tightening sensation that only intensifies as it sits. By the end of 10 minutes, I could barely open my mouth or raise my eyebrows. 
I will say that this is very effective. It promises to lift, tighten, smooth, and shrink pores, and it does. After 5 uses, my large pores are tighter and less noticable,  fine lines around my lips and on my forehead are less pronounced and my skin looks firmer overall.

This product can be damaging to the skin of used incorrectly or excessively. It also has the potential to damage the moisture barrier. It does sting on sensitive areas and can cause irritation, redness, and dry skin. 

This product is amazingly affordable and you get a lot of product for your money. A single bottle of this toner will last you a long time. After a month of regular usage, I have seen a noticable improvement in my skins texture and tone. It has lightened my discoloration from sun exposure and also faded some acne marks. It also has helped to give me smoother skin. 

If I have lots of makeup on my face, I don't use this cleanser to remove it. I personally think it is just too mild for deep cleansing. I also feel this cleanser may not be compatible with oily skin types. 

This cleanser is very gentle on skin. It has never overdryed my skin or left tightness after washing. I love it for hydrating my dry skin, especially in winter. It leaves my skin clean and soft. It also has a low pH level, which is better for maintaining skins natural moisture barrier. The price is super affordable as well.
