I know this is mainly a platform for skincare, but according to me anything related to the body care can come under it which is why I’d like to introduce this topic!

Do you know what is Hair Porosity? 

It is essentially your hair’s ability to absorb and retain moisture.

The porosity of your hair affects how well oils and moisture pass in and out of the outermost layer of your hair, known as the cuticle. 

Although it is broadly divided into three categories :

➖Low porosity: Cuticles that are close together.

➖Medium porosity: Cuticles that are less tightly bound.

➖High porosity: Cuticles that are more widely spaced.

How can you test what hair porosity is? 

Step 1 - Wash your hair thoroughly 

Step 2 - Fill up a transparent cup of water 

Step 3 - Once your hair is clean and dry, drop a single strand of your hair into the glass of water

Step 4 - Watch the strand after a while to see if it sinks to the bottom of the glass or floats at the top or stays somewhere in between

👉🏼Low porosity: If the strand stays afloat at the top 

👉🏼Medium porosity: If the strand floats somewhere in the middle of the glass

👉🏼High porosity: If the strand sinks to the bottom of the glass

What is the worst product you have tried till date?

Hyram just released a new video talking about each and every product they have released in the past month. Have you watched it yet, if yes has it changed your perspective towards his products?

It did not do much for my skin. But i felt like it gave my skin tiny bumps because when I stopped using it my skins texture got better. 

I also feel like it is too mild for people who have already used higher forms of BHA.

I’ve only used this for a short period of time but it is a very gentle form of BHA for people who are just starting to introduce this active to their skin. 

It has  amazing ingredients like niacinamide, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and arginine. 

It has a very watery texture and is super light on the skin. I haven’t noticed any great improvement but it seems like a sure shot product for people who have just started getting into chemical exfoliation.

Despite having so many amazing ingredients i didnt see a drastic change in my skin. 

But it does function as perfectly non-irritating hydrating, skin-soothing basic toner if that is what you need in your routine

Ive been using this essence for the past few weeks now and it’s almost empty now. It is super hydrating and has a really light and watery texture. 

Some notable ingredients are Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Betaine, Green tea extract, Trehalose, Arginine, Adenosine,Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate. 

It contains alot more amazing ingredients too, but this is just the icing on the cake.

My face does feel stripped fo moisture and it does have that skin tightening effect

This product is pretty foamy so you don’t need a lot to cleanse your skin.
My face feels very clean after i use it and it works very well for those summery days

The worst part of the product is that it broke me out like no other, with bad scarring, so lets just say i’ll never be using it again, since i’m not the kinds to break out easily and my skin is pretty resilient

I expected this product to be my holy grail since it had snail mucin, which is known to be one of the most upcoming korean skincare ingredients, it has a pretty viscousy texture and sinks in pretty well

It does contain 5 differnt essential oils which I would prefer not to have since it can irritate the skin. 
It does contain a very prominent lemony scent to it which lingers on application.

This is one of the best vitamin c serums I have come across. It overall brightened up my skin and feels so cool to apply. It doesnt feel tacky on the skin and absorbs beautifully 

It contains a mixture of skin brightening, soothing and hydrating ingredients like 70% citrus tangerine extract along with some other ingredients like arbutin, ascorbyl glucoside, niacinamide, sugarcane extract, tumeric extract, centella asiatica, green tea extract, licorice root extract,panthenol, sodium hyaluronate. 

For anyone looking to overall brighten their dull skin, or people with hyperpigmentation this is “THE PRODUCT”
