Hi! Im so confused with the Cica Baume hype! I have dry sensitive skin and I use it when my skin is dry and sensitive and itchy and it helps soothe. However I don’t find it particular hydrating or thicker than other moisturizers.

Do I have a misunderstanding of the product? Is this meant to be more of a sealer product than thick hydrater?

Everyone recommends it for dry skin but I don’t get it?

Cica Baum not that thick?

Help! I’ve woken up with lots  little bumps on my forehead . Not sure if it’s from my snail mucan ( I tend to get bumps when I use it). Or if it’s just irritation from my Halloween costume.
Is there a way to tell fungle acne and irritation bumps apart?

Irritation vs fungle acne!

I’m redoing my skincare Routine and I want to know what you think are the most important ingredients/products  to have in your routine?!

Hi everyone! So my skin has been mayhem atm . It’s really dry and my super thick moisturizer I order is in the mail still. My skin is dry and irritated and breaking out eveywhere. I’m hesitant to pause exfoliating or retinal bc I think it’s the reason I got here in the first place. As I just started being more consistent with it aka 2x a week instead of once a month 
 So a few questions

1. How long does a purge of retinal or high bha percentage last ?

2. When facing sensitive dry  skin and pimples is it best to go back to the basics (cleanser Moisturiser spf) until my skin feels better? Or power through

3. Introducing new products when you’re skin is stressed e.g is it a bad time to try a sensitive soothing toner?

Pausing exfoliating?

-This product was enjoyable but due to my super sensitive skin I don’t think this product was enough to notice a big difference. I feel like the same effect could be achieved with as hydrating routine (10 step Korean skincare routine)
-I enjoyed the ritual  that it gave me.
-I wouldn’t repurchase as I just don’t think there’s a big enough difference. That being said I do believe this would work well for other skin types. 

 Today I’m reviewing the Cosrx Full Fit Propolis Honey overnight Mask.

It’s my first time trying an overnight mask so I was super excited to try it!

🐝Purpose
This overnight mask aims to intensely hydrate as well as moisturize skin. It is marketed as a 3in 1 product meaning you can use it 3 different ways. I’ve only used this as an overnight mask.

🌻Ingredients
-Propolis Extract 
-Honey Exctract
-Royal Jelly Extract
-Adenosine

⭐️My experience 
Pros
-I honestly enjoyed this mask. It did hydrate and moisturize my skin. 
-The texture was devine. It spread easily and wasn’t too sticky that my hair got stuck on my face. 
-I hate being able to smell products on my face, this had no smell.
-It feels lightweight and you don’t feel like you have a thick layer of mask on.
-It is marketed as 

Packaging 
-Occasionally the compartment with spf would unlock and pop out. Making it inconvenient when you are opening the product. This happenes quite alot but it is easy to pop back in
-The cushion has to be washed or replaced due to hygeine

SPF
-I would prefer a more creamy formula  as the balm does make it hard to get much product on the cushion. I find i have to scrape the cushion to get the product on rather than just pressing like you would with a foundation pact.

This is my first cushion SPF sun pact that i’ve ever tried !

Pros
-beautiful packaging
-convient to reapply due to the mirror
-refillable
-easy to fit in handbags

SPF PRO
-Both chemical and physical sunscreen giving you the best of both worlds!
-hydrating and calming
-leaves a natrual dewy finish (not over the top)
-it is more like a balm than a cream product 
-it is a great formula with centella asiatica in it too.
-the spf applies with a blue tinge making it easy to see where youve re applied the sunscreen. However it does take a little while to pat it in.  


Nécessaire - The body exfoliator (Fragrance Free)

“The ultimate exfoliating product”

I had a gift card from Mecca so I decided to splurge ($45 AUD) and by this product from @Necessaire. They are the ultimate it girl
Aesthetic brand. Their packaging is so elegant and simple it makes me feel more mature than I really am.

The reason I choose this product is because I’m eternally on the search for an exfoliator that can manage my body acne and ingrown hair situation. A lot of skincare products are either physical or chemical . //*This product is both !*//

It offers 6.5% Physical Exfoliation and  1.25% Chemical Exfoliation

The key ingredients are
-Volcanic Pumice (physical exfoliant)
-Charcoal Pumice (physical exfoliant)
-Glycolic Acid (chemical exfoliant)
-Lactic Acid (chemical exfoliant)
-Salicylic Acid (chemical exfoliant)
-Gluconolactone (chemical exfoliant)
-Niacinamide

What it targets
-Dry Patches
-KP (keratosis Pilaris)
-Body Acne ( not stated on website , but I do find it helps)

-I would also like to note this brand is vegan and Climate Neutral and Plastic Neutral 

My Thoughts
I LOVE this! Product! I instantly noticed a differnce. My skin has never been this smooth in my entire life

The texture is gel which enables you  are to buff in the product really well ( a little goes along way) . I apply it when My skin is damp.

Despite my dry sensitive skin I did not experience any irritation at all.

I do follow exfolianting with body moisturizer. But I will say prior to Moisturiser my skin did not feel dry or rough at all.

I have only been using this for a couple of weeks and I have already noticed a huge difference. Reduction in blemishes and ingrown hairs. 


I highly highly recommend this product.It’s definitely worth the price if you consider both the effectiveness and the amount of product you get! 

I’m excited to try more from this brand!

Since I finished my #glowrecipe mini review. I thought I’d do a in-depth review of this serum!

What is it?
It is a hylaronic acid serum designed to
Hydrate and plump the skin💦

Star Ingredients 
-3 Types of Plum
-Vitamin B5
-5 different molecular weights of Hylaronic Acid 

I’m on my 2nd bottle of this product! (It is very rare for me to repurchase something. I love it because
-it’s non irritating for me ( does contain fragrance)
-it’s a good everyday HA 

Smell: slight fruity smell  not very strong
Texture: lightweight serum texture . Slightly tacky.

Overall- This is a great product if you want a trust worthy HA serum. It would be great for oily , normal skin too. Personally it’s not heavy enough to be my holy grail serum as I need alot more moisture. But for the days My skin isn’t the Sahara desert this is perfect!
There is a lot of competition for HA serum so if you want a more affordable option this might not be your first choice 

The glitters are a stand out product in this. The non glitter shades are nice. They are a good colour choice and make it easy to do many versatile eye looks. That being said they are not anything amazing. They dont have a very pigmented pay off and takw a couple of layers to build colour.

Im quite fair but i found the soft lavendar to be lighter than my skin tone and haze ( which has subtle glitter pigments) was also lighter than my skin tone. These two colours ill probably use the least  as i tend to prefer glitter tones as a highlight than just light shadows.

Im excited to try more from this brand! They have my heart 💕

Lets get into the detail
The glitters in this are unmatched. Ive tried alot of glitter products over the years and these glitters are insane . With the smallest amount youll see the glitter pigment. The glitters are sorted into different thickness and consistency e.g thick large glitter shadows, creamy glitter shadow, normal glitter consistency shadow, small glitter and medium glitter shadow. It means versatility in application and design as well as you can choose your prefrence!

The pigment on the glitters e.gcolour base, is opaque in some of the colours ( purple moon, iris, Allium) and more sheer in other colour.

I love the shades in this pallet! I have a cool /olive undertone and i love that these shades are accessible for my skin tone.

I can not begin to describe the glitter payoff! Im actually so so soo in love

There is not much fall out at all and unless you rub your eyes (like me) the gltiter doesnt move around
