𝗦𝗨𝗡 𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗙 𝟱𝟬+ 𝗣𝗔++++
WTH this is so good. This is a vegan chemical sunscreen with lightweight milky texture and watery consistency for fast absorption. It felt like almost nothing on skin and quickly turned translucent once I started rubbing it in. I have dry-combo skin and this didn’t feel particularly hydrating nor drying but NO white cast or residue. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘦𝘴, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯. As a reference, I do well with both chemical and physical sunscreens. 


If you are new to cleansing milk, think liquid cleaning balm - no water required to activate and it doesn’t foam or emulsify. This is ideal as the first step to a double cleansing routine and my skin feels sufficiently clean, supple and soft. Ingredients include ceramide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, safflower seed oil, and soy protein.

I love the light watery consistency and how quickly it absorbs. It feels cooling and refreshing upon contact and absorbs well. Not at all sticky or greasy. It is hydrating, soothing and makes my skin look subtly clear and bright. The star ingredient again is 77% centella asiatica extract and 4% of niacinamide. So what’s creating that snow-globe effect? The patented ingredient madecassoside is placed in beads to enhance stability and provides a brightening effect for glowing skin. It disappears immediately upon contact. 

Wow, this is very hydrating for a toner! It definitely feels more like an essence than a toner so I’ve been layering it like an essence. The watery texture is non-greasy or sticky and it absorbs well. My skin feels so comfortable, supple and baby soft. Low pH 5.5 with plant-based extracts and hydrating ingredients such as caeramide, panthenol and hyaluronic acid. 

None. But the formulation may not be ideal in the summer for those with very oily skin. 

This is similar to d’Alba’s first serum mist. It is a toner/essence/serum that you spray onto your face, which is super convenient and avoids hand contact. With a ratio of 8:2 serum and oil, it provides ample hydration without the greasiness. The fine mist made it lightweight and refreshing like water upon contact. Also, it doesn’t spray too wide so I don’t waste product to air. The absorption is slow but you are awarded with fresh and hydrated skin with a healthy glow that lasts.
