I have a sensitive skin and it scares me to use any chemical exfoliate to improve my skin texture and hyperpigmentation. I read acids that are sensitive-skin friendly like mandelic acid but idk which brand to start with and how to introduce it in my routine.

Should I exfoliate?

I love barrier cream as it has help with my skin dryness and redness especially during allergies season 🫢. I Would sometime pair it with a lightweight moisturiser or used it as it is.

There are many barrier cream in the market right now. I have used the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume, Avéne Cicalfate and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair cream.

I would love to try other barrier cream. Any recommendation for someone with sensitive and combination skin?

What’s your favourite barrier cream?

I’ve only tried clay mask from Freeman (dries down your skin) and Innisfree (no effect seen). I was traumatize since that but nowadays i’ve seen the hype over mugwort and clay mask for pores and texture. I have quite texture skin, so i’m curious which mask is worth the hype. Please recommend me some 🫶🏻

AMAZING FOR HYDRATION. not only it is good for hydrating, it calms down redness and minimize texture on the skin. It took awhile to see a difference but already has my stock up.

I have sensitive skin, it does contain fragrance and the citrusy smell is very powering. wish the fragrance could tone down a bit cause it’s like wearing a citrus perfume 😂 even after rinsing it off.

The texture is sorbet-like but melts immediately in contact with the skin. I was surprised how well the makeup came off and i believe you won’t need to emulsify it. Using a gentle makeup remover cloth and it would came off. However, I did emulsify it and rinse off with water. BUT as i dry off my skin, it doesn’t felt tight or leaves a oily film in your skin. My skin felt soft and well-moisturised 😍.
I don’t see any irritation or redness after using it despite the fragrance but it it alcohol free.

It doesn’t provide enough hydration around my eyes, thus those with dry skin would probably find it underwhelming.

The price tag is quite expensive for 50ml

This moisturiser has a floral scent that doesn’t linger. It has a gel cream texture that is super lightweight and absorbs immediately. I like the calming effects it gives and how it penetrates deeply into the skin.

This moisturiser provides great hydration without feeling too greasy. It suits more to those with oily/combination skin. It has a slightly cooling effect and definitely soothing to the skin.

I have oily skin and this definitely work to reducing sebum production. I understand why it is called “fresh toner”, definitely felt fresh when applied. 

it is not teansfer proof. may be drying for some

As someone with medium-tan skin, this colour compliments my skin tone perfectly and looks very batural on my two-tone lips. It is not transfer proof but the product stays on the lips for 3-4hours. I also love the powdery matte finish
