I personally found the capsules to be a teeny-bit meh as they can be quite hard before dissolving into the skin (which does only take a second or two). I also would prefer more calming and soothing effects from this considering the high amounts of centella (I feel like its the hydration that slightly calms rather than the ampoule ampoule).

I recieved this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review. 

This serum was surprisingly hydrating for my dehydrated skin (even by itself) and the centella definitely helped in cooling and slighty calming down my overheated and red skin. As for the brightening effects, my skin became a little more glowy and my hyperpigmentation lightened by a tiny bit (I 
also use other niacinamide products alongside this). 

- don’t like the citrus-woody scent from essential oils (personal preference. others love it) 
- can be quite “shiny/oily” (better for nighttime use) 
- getting picky here but the lid of my one was kinda wonky

+ eco friendly packaging made from 90% recycled glass and looks super prettty
+ a thicker oil so perfect for winter or night routines 💕 
+ moisturising with a bit of hydration 
+ brightening effects (seen with continued use but works quicker with other brightening products) 


- Thick balmy texture
- Plastic smell
- Didn’t really do much (salicylic acid)
- Burns my sensitive skin
- Not moisturising enough

-didnt see any effects from the bha 
-can make your skin red if you have a weak barrier like me
-the pump dispenses more than you need
