Happy December ❄️ I wanted to have a discussion about brand opportunities. I’m new to this creator space and would love to know everyone’s thoughts on the differences between PR, collabs, gifted, and paid content. I’m not entirely sure if my thoughts on these are right. 

Please correct me if I’m wrong! 
- PR has zero obligations. You can choose to post about it, review, anything. The brand does not require you to do anything just because you receive it. 
- Collabs are similar to PR but you have obligations, whether is a video unboxing it or reviewing the product in a certain way, using certain key phrases or hashtags in the caption 
- gifted: similar to PR? I’m not sure if this is its own category
- paid content is like a contract. The brand has strict requirements that you must meet and you allow them to use your content in the ways you agreed upon. In return, you get paid in money, not just free products (but free products are often involved)

I use the cosnori nail cream and the hand veil rich nail polish. They are great for brittle nails that are prone to breakage. I use them to grow out my nails with extra strengthen.

I’ve been getting the deal for the pink booster pro on tiktok with the skincare products bundle. Has anyone tried the device? When I go on Reddit, the general consensus is that it’s pointless 🥲I really want to try it but it’s quite expensive even with the big discount. I’m just afraid it won’t work.

I’ll go first 💕 I love using the WAKEMAKE London Brown blurring eyeshadow palette and the rom&nd Nucadamia juicy lasting tint! My too cool for school contour in classic shade is so versatile too. I use it for contouring my jawline and nose, aegyosal shadow, and even for my brows ✨

Be careful when applying it, it is quite sticky like a good cheese pull and may drop onto your clothes.

This vegan bean essence is a great alternative to the viral COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin. It’s currently ranked top 5 on Amazon under facial serums. mixsoon Bean Essence strengthens, moisturizes, revitalizes skin and can be used to gently exfoliate textured skin. It also helps to control sebum without irritating your skin. 

Key ingredients:

✨My experience ✨
I got this as a 50ml x2 pack deal from Costco (US) for $39.99. My first impressions were that this is a very hydrating and moisturizing essence. The sticky appearance reminds me of natto, although it doesn’t feel sticky.  It has no scent and feels gentle on my skin. It is non-irritating and feels good to apply, leaving my skin with a glass-skin like glow. 

The scent may be a bit strong for those with sensitive noses. 

🌸UNOVE - Silk Oil Essence🌸

This hair oil features 23 types of protein and amino acids as well as 5 types of plant-derived golden oil. The protein and amino acids helps to add nutrition and the oils make your hair smooth and shiny ✨

The 🌸Tender Bloom version has a lovely and elegant floral musk fragrance:
🍊Top notes: orange, peach, cassis
🌹Middle notes: jasmine, rose, green-note, muguet (lily of the valley), aqua-note
🪵Base: amber, musk, sandalwood, vetyve

UNOVE Silk Oil Essence is great for severely damaged hair. It provides a soft and silky feel and shiny look to your hair without stickiness. This formula quickly permeates rough hair and calms down frizziness. You can also use this before and after using heat on your hair to prevent damage and dryness. 

I love how it makes my hair incredibly soft and silky. My husband always compliments the fragrance when I wear it. I like to add a pump to my clean hands, massage it in my palms for a bit to warm it up and then press and finger comb my hair after styling to give it a beautiful shine and smooth down any frizz. 

It’s quite expensive for what is basically just a lip balm. You are definitely paying for the name brand but I love the packaging so much I’d buy it over and over again. 

🩷DIOR - Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm 🩷

This is my go to lip balm! Firstly, I LOVE the packaging. It is perfect for my pink and soft girlies and this product is so moisturizing and makes my lips super soft. It also has a decent pink color and gives off a slight shine! I like to use this in the mornings before I go about my day and also before I do my makeup so my lips are soft and prepped for lip products. It is infused with cherry oil to provide hydration to your lips for 24 hours. 

As you can see in my video, it is very well loved. I reached the bottom of the barrel and I’ve been trying to make it last as long as possible but soon I’ll hit pan. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this, maybe in the rosewood color next time. 

I wish it was in a tube or pump container instead of having to scoop it out. 


I like to use this cream on days when my skin is feeling especially dry. It has a thick texture that you can apply with their included application stick. I’m already on my second bottle and the cute packaging is also a plus! My skin feels super hydrated and soft after using it. 

There is not much color in this lip oil if you are looking for a strong pigment, especially if you have darker lips. 

This is very moisturizing and leaves my lips super glossy and plump looking. It has a slight minty smell which I prefer over something sickly sweet. I absolutely love the packaging - it makes me feel girly and high end. It has a very subtle 
 pink sheen which enhances my natural lip color.
