I have combination skin that needs regular purifying to keep its glow and even skin tone but at the same time, my skin doesn't need anything too harsh!!! 👀PACKAGING : this Cica face wash by The Potions comes in a 110ml tube with a flap cap. 🍦TEXTURE : it is a foaming cream!💗💗 It thickens and foams when massaged on the face with water. It's like massaging my face with whipped cream. 🔑KEY INGREDIENTS : - Centella Asiatica (calming) - Tea Tree leaf extract (antibacterial, anti-inflammatory) ✨PURIFYING : if you are in the hunt for a purifying cleanser that isn't harsh or exfoliating, this one is a great option!! The gentle creamy texture cleanses and foams without being agressive. No overexfoliation, no redness, no stinging sensation. After rinsing my tone skin is bright, clear and purified but no red or irritated. My skin is super smooth and looking "poreless". 🥚SMOOTHING : I have noticed that this cleanser is also great at smoothing my skin. I was surprised because it isn't its primary function. It's not an "exfoliating" cleanser BUT, my skin is very obviously smoother when I use The Potions' Cica face wash. If you want a smoothing YET gentle cleanser, this one is THE ONE. 🐑GENTLE : as I've already mentioned, this cleanser does its purifying and smoothing job without being harsh! THAT SAID, my unproblematic combination skin doesn't need to use this cleanser twice a day. Once a day, at night is enough for me. 🎤MY EXPERIENCE : so I don't have acne but I need maintenance to cleanse my pores and keep a nice, bright, even skin tone. I use this cleanser usually at night after my cleansing oil or balm. It gets rid of literally everything and gives my skin a huge refreshing effect after a long day at work. My favorite thing is how smooth my skin is after rinsing! Literally buttery smooth🧈 👍🏼RECOMMENDATION : I strongly recommend The Potions' Cica cleanser to problematic skin, oily, combination, normal skin. I ALSO recommend this cleanser to people without problematic skin but that still wanna use a purifying cleanser for maintenance.

This is hands down one of the best toner I've ever tried! I mean, "toner", "essence", "solution"...for me it's all the same I apply them right after washing my face. ❓Why this product? Since I have medium skin tone prone to hyperpigmentation and residual pimple marks, I love brightening skincare and I always have at least one product targeting this concern in my routine. Also since i have oily to combination skin, I thought I would be very interesting to use something with niacinamide again. 👀 Packaging: I usually don't care for packaging, especially when it comes to toners but I have to admit that this dark green glass bottle is super elegant and minimalist. This is 4eally a trendy aesthetic that we see a lot these days. I love it. I plan on keeping the bottle and make a dry flower vase out of it 😁 The bottle is quite heavy tho, be careful to not let it slip through your fingers when using it. I scared myself a few times like that...😂 💦 Texture: it is simply a water like texture. Not aqueous at all. Just liquid like water. It gets absorbed very quickly and doesn't leave any residue or tacky feeling on my skin. 🙌🏼How I use it: I generously and consistently applied this toner morning and night right after washing my face and before applying my ampoules/serums. I used different way to apply this toner: with my palms or with cotton pads. Depending on my mood. The results are the same nonetheless. ✨ Results: this toner reminds me a bit of the By Wishtrend's Quad Active Boosting Essence because there are no immediate effects but with consistent uses we get rewarded with AMAZING skin!!!🙌🏼 I wanna say that I LOVE how my skin looks right now thanks to this toner. My skin tone is even, bright and my PIH faded even more. My skin texture is crazy smooth and healthy looking...is this what we call "Glass Skin"??😂 I also appreciate the hydration and gentleness of this toner. That said, don't expect huge hydration, it does a basic job regarding that. Its main purpose is brightening after all!! I highly recommend this toner to anyone wanting a purified, bright, mark free and even skin tone. Honestly I regret not buying at least one more bottle to carry on with the applications. I think for my next ELMT purchase I'll combine this Illuminating Solution with another ELMT solution to maximize results.
