Knowing Japan, they take and formulate ingredients to be the best and be a trusted quality brand. I gave this a try since it is said that it was gentle on skin. True to its claim it is the gentlest cleanser I've tried, the rich creamy foam being lathered in my skin gives a relaxing feeling. The mild floral fragrance also adds on soothing feeling. For me it is not just a gentle cleanser, it is a deep cleanser because of how it removes dirt and impurities in your pores. It doesn't leave your skin tight or squeaky feeling, it's so mositurizing. It's because of the double hyaluronic acid. (I personally love hyaluronic acid. ). My skin barrier improves as I rarely had breakouts now. For your reference I have oily acne prone skin and it suits my skin type. It doesn't cause me breakouts and it lessen my oilyness. That's because it has a lot of hydrating ingredients. This was my holy grail since 2020. I'm still looking for a cleanser that may beat this but so far, I haven't seen so I'll still stick with this.

To those who haven't known Isntree, it's a korean brand meaning Island Nature and Trees. They formulate products with clean and quality ingredients from nature. This toner consists of 50% hyaluronic acid. For new in skincare, hyaluronic acid is not actually a type of acid that burns your skin so don't be afraid. It's purpose on our skin is to retain moisture on our skin. It locks the moisture so our skin will be moisturized and hydrated all throughtout the day. My experience with this toners is the it makes my skin plump and hydrated. My skin isn't dull anymore. I have oily acne prone and it best suits my condition. As you all know oily people tends to produce more oil if we are not hydrated and moisturized. So this helps to regulate sebum production. I didn't have breakouts. It's just, my skin drinks up water from this toner. I really love this one. This has a watery consistency. Absorbs fast when applying. I applied this without cotton I just tap it with my hands. Asking to repurchase? Yes I will. Isntree have good products so wanna try their green tea toner as well.

I received these products for free from picky and skin1004 in exchange for my honest review. My experience: As you can see, this was not my first time using this ampoule. I already used their products since their old packaging. I kept repurchasing for these main reasons: 🌱calms and soothes active pimples 🌱helps repair skin barrier 🌱heal and strengthens skin barrier 🌱lightweight and fastly absorbed due to watery consistency 🌱didn't cause me purging 🌱clean/hypoallergenic 🌱suitable for all skin types I've got to experience this with my different skin conditions. I have oily acne prone skin and I used this on my am and pm routine everyday with 2-4 drops . - First I tried this with my skin in a good condition and what it does to my skin is it makes my skin hydrated, plump and glowy, I rarely have pimples. - The second one is when I'm having my breakout and damaged skin barrier. I reach out for this ampoule as it has 100% cica extract that is known for soothing and calming skin. From this, I tested it claims and surprisingly it does it job. My painful pimps calms on my 3rd day of using and some tiny bumps fade away from day 2. - I also tried this using alone to purely test it's capabilities. Still, results are visible only on calming pimps and fading away pimps. The glow I've experienced before lessens and the hydration felt like I need to double layer. Also, I rarely got pimps with using this. All in all, this is still my go-to ampoule whenever I have breakouts from the products I been trying or damaged skin barrier. I didn't expect this for fading acne scars or hyperpigmentations and hydrating effects as this is purely cica extract. This perfectly do its job on maintaining your skin in good condition. For those using chemical exfoliants/active ingredients and wanted to have some calming session with skin, you may opt for this same with those dealing with compromised skin barrier or having breakouts. ABOUT THE PRODUCT - Skin Irritation Test Completed - The soothing cream is formulated with Centella Asiatica Extract from Madagascar and Quadruple Ceramide Complex, and is quickly absorbed into the skin to strengthen skin barrier and keep it moisturized. - Fragrance/Scent free Experience: This is a lightweight gel type moisturizer which my oily skin loves so much. I had tried other moisturizer in cream type but it always clogged my pores and gives me pimples the next day. As for gel types I tried, I can feel that they can’t seal enough the moisture in my skin but this one is an exception. Although it is in gel type, I can feel that it really locks in the moisture in my face because I feel a little occlusive whenever I applied this (well for my super oily skin that’s what I feel). It glides really well and absorbs a little faster. I believe this also help in reducing pain when I have cystic acne and maintaining my skin barrier in good condition because I rarely have pimples till now. I use this morning and night for the first month but now I only use this in the morning because I currently have different moisturizer at night which from this brand too as well, the hyalu-cica sleeping pack. It was said to be for normal to dry skin but it is actually good for oily skin too! I like the watery texture and it has no scent/fragrance either. I have tiny bumps on my forehead I think because of clogged pores and I have oily skin. A week of using this, I can see brightening effects. For my tiny bumps, it already smoothen on my 1 month and half of use. This was my first time of using chemical exfoliation so I don’t know if the time duration of smoothening my skin is slow or just fine. I think this is a gentle AHA since I haven’t gone purging or have a tingling sensation, but the first time I used it, I rarely touched my face because when I touch my face it felt a little itchy, that was on my 1st and 2nd use only. It’s been 2 months and I have glowy smooth skin right now! I could say the best purchase on my 2021! Final thoughts: This is good for a beginner on doing chemical exfoliation, but always take note that we all have different skin so always patch test. I will be repurchasing soon the minis again because I feel like this is much more practical. The bigger size contains 120ml but the PAO is only 6 months, I think I can use half of it until its PAO because I just do 2x a week and then the other half could be a waste since it’s a chemical exfoliator and I think its unsafe to use it after the PAO because it’s chemical unlike the other products which still can be used after PAO. But if you want to purchase the regular size, you can use it on your underarms to utilize the product. So far my only concern is the short PAO. All in all it's a big heart heart! *Self purchased
