This is the first cleansing balm I have ever tried and I ended up loving it so much. I don’t wear makeup but I do wear a tinted mineral sunscreen everyday and this balm melts it right off my face with ease at the end of the day. Feels very nice going on, leaves my face feeling smooth and hydrated. Washes away easily with warm water, it’s not stripping and does not leave my face oily or greasy. Very affordable and widely available in my country (US) as well.

First of all, this cleansing balm contains some really great ingredients like beta glucan, squalane, ferments, antioxidants, and ceramides to help restore skin’s delicate balance as you cleanse. It’s a very thick and oily feeling cleansing balm. When I took the first scoop and saw the texture I thought oh no, this is going to be so greasy and never wash off, I don’t think I’ll like this. But I couldn’t have been more wrong! Being thick and oily makes it glide incredibly well over skin and easily take off all sunscreen and makeup. It had no trouble taking off waterproof mascara and lip tints, which are always the real tests for any cleansing balm I try. It never blurred or stung my eyes and didn’t have any kind of fragrance to it, which I love. It’s a very gentle formula. It emulsifies really nicely with water and washes off cleanly with no issues. It leaves my skin feeling so moisturized, nourished, and smooth.

Leaves skin feeling soft, clean, and moisturized, no leftover residue or tightness. Also does not sting my eyes or make them blurry like some oil cleansers/balms do. It has a light floral type fragrance, nothing overpowering. Also comes in a very decent sized jar for an affordable price.

This cleansing balm quickly made it to my top 3 cleansing balms. The texture is so soft, smooth, and creamy and it melts in your hands effortlessly. No lumps and clumps with this one ever. It glides over skin very nicely and removes everything. It had no trouble taking off eye makeup, lip stain, or sunscreen. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Did not leave any kind of residue behind and did not sting or blur my eyes. It does have added fragrance on the ingredients list (the very last thing on the list), but honestly it was almost non-detectable. It had a super light citrus type fragrance to it, but it was not strong or overpowering and did not bother me at all. Also, this comes in a huge 4oz jar that will last you quite a while. I use a cleansing balm every single night because I use a mineral sunscreen on my face and really need that oil to break down and remove the sunscreen completely. This jar lasted me about 2 months, using it every single night. I purchased it for $10 on StyleKorean, so that is quite a deal!

But as soon as I used it for the first time it quickly became one of my top cleansing balms. It’s soft and smooth and melts down immediately when you start applying it to your face. It glides across skin easily and takes off all makeup and sunscreen. It has zero issues taking off waterproof mascara, lip tints, and mineral sunscreen. It doesn’t blur or sting eyes and has no added fragrance. It does have a very slight ingredients smell, nothing strong or bothersome to me, personally. It emulsifies with water very easily and rinses cleanly. It leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated, no residue left behind and no dry or stripped feeling to skin. Definitely a must try if you love cleansing balms like I do, it’s worth the hype.

Smells faintly of fresh limes, which I really didn’t mind as it was a natural type scent and nothing overpowering.
