This is the time ,where I need toswitch to a basic gentle + calming skincare routine to fix my skin issues. One of my favorite gentle gel cleanser is from @xycos_official CICA GREEN CLEANSER 🌿Main ingredients are: centella , spirulina and avocado for soothing and protecting the skin barrier 🌿additional ingredients: tea tree, green tea, rice bran extracts, squalane 🌿 sulfate free formula: Coco betaine ❗contains lavender oil ➡️ The formula is a nice gel which barely foams up. It cleanses make up+ impurities in a very gentle way. My skin feels really soft ,refreshed and hydrated. There are several ways to apply or use chemical exfoliations: 🔹wash off products like cleansers and masks 🔹leave on products like toners and serums Due to your skin concerns or sensitivity you also can decide between different types of Ingredients: 🔹 AHA (like glycolic acid, malic acid, lactic acid.... ) ➡️best for dry and mature skin, helps with hyperpigmentations 🔹 BHA ( like salicylic acid, betain salicylate, lipohydroxy acid...) ➡️ gets deep into the pores and cleans out the sebum, best for oily and acne prone skin 🔹 PHA (like gluconolacton) ➡️ doesn't penetrate deeply in the skin, one of the most gentle acids 🔹natural extracts and enzymes ➡️ if you are sensitive to all kinds of acids or physical exfoliation, this could be an everyday option 🌈☀IMPORTANT: never forget your SPF in the morning, especially after exfoliation!!! It is far less viscous than expected, given that propolis-containing products tend to be on the richer and thicker side. It feels a bit sticky when you run it through your fingers though, so it isn’t quite as water-like as a first treatment essence. ______ The Propolis Synergy Toner🌻 is alcohol-, essential oil- and fragrance-free, which will make many of you very happy to hear. ______ I tend to use this toner in the mornings due to its light feel on the skin and the fact that it so smoothly glides onto the skin, playing well with any skincare or makeup products that follow in the routine. ______ 🔆To sum up This is a great, gentle toner for a variety of skin types, from dehydrated to acne-prone and oily, since it delivers hydration without overpowering the skin. .
