I did not expect to like this so much as I originally anticipated. I actually don’t have a good opinion on scrubs but this one did change my mind a little. Let me tell you why I liked this: 🌿 This lathers up nicely. One main reasons I don’t like scrubs is because I find that they don’t lather nicely as I wish they did, which leads me to think I’m not actually cleaning my body. With this however, I felt my pores being cleaned out. 🌿 This has a nice smell to it that isn’t strong. Its main ingredients consist of boryeong mud, which is known to have minerals that contain benefits. While that is to be tested for further to form a solid opinion, I do see that it contains salicylic acid, which is a good BHA, and salt silt, which is good for exfoliation. It also contains ceramides to protect your skin barrier. 🌿 After washing, I did not experience dryness or removal of skin’s natural moisture. I felt clean. I like that this does not mess with your skin barrier. 🌿 I did see a slight improvement in brightness as little as in one wash. I was pleasantly surprised and will use this as a motivation factor to use this more often. Overall, this gets a 5/5 for me.

As someone who’s gone through her fair share of cleansers and already is loyal to certain brands, I wasn’t expecting to be moved by this product. It still isn’t in my top 3, but it does get pretty dang close. Let me list reasons why I like this: 🐻 This is acne-prone and sensitive skin safe. As someone with combination skin, I tend to get acne in certain zones I prefer not to get. This cleanser did not irritate my skin in any way and actually left it feeling clean. 🐻 This did not dry my face out. It left a clean feel without causing issues for me. 🐻 The texture of this is smooth and feels nice to the touch. It is easy to lather, get it to foam, and rinse of the face quite well. 🐻 It contains Boryeong mud, which is known for beneficial minerals that work with improving the skin, but I’d have to work with this much longer to decide whether it actually does what it claims. So far, I do see brightening of my skin as well as minimization of my pores. Overall this gets a 4.7/5 for me. It doesn’t have all the benefits I look for in my cleansers but it does a pretty great job of cleansing my skin without damaging the barrier.

When I was younger (high school-ish), I was someone obsessed with sheet masks and face masks. I do think at some point down the line, I felt they weren’t as effective on my skin and kind of stopped gravitating towards them. When I was selected for this giveaway, I was wondering if I’d like the mask at all due to my personal opinion of them. To my surprise, this brought me back to my days where I used to really like masks. Let’s dive into why I particularly like this mask and why it came into my top 3 masks as of now: 🩶 This stuff seriously cleans out your pores. I went into this not expecting much. I was surprised to see some of the sebum (with slight discoloration) was completely gone after one wash. It made me intrigued in knowing more about this product. 🩶 I instantly saw my skin glowing a bit more after using this. It wasn’t short lived, which made me appreciate this as well. 🩶 The texture of this is so fun. It’s so smooth and doesn’t irritate my face. I also did not experience any negative reactions. 🩶 Some of the ingredients sound insanely good, which I attribute to the effectiveness of the product. It contains ingredients such as Jericho rose extract, kelp extract, and Hijiki extract. They are know to hydrate skin and offer antioxidant protection. I rate this mask a 5/5. I’ll be using this periodically, which is something new for me as I haven’t been using masks in a long time.
