Looking for a GREAT 1st CLEANSE product! 

What’s your favourite oil based cleaners? I have such a hard time trying to find them in drugstore and distinguish them from regular cleansers (bit of a newbie to skincare!)

Also do you guys like oil cleansers or cleansing balms?

Trouble Uploading Reviews

🐌It does absorb quickly into the skin but leaves a slightly sticky/tacky feeling for a bit, but this is common with snail ingredient. Not really a fan of how it feels on a skin.    

🐌Not a good product for sensitive skin as it contains a lot of essential/fruit oils and fermented ingredients. 

🐌I’ll have to do a more in depth review later to see if I have any results from it.

This will be more of a first impression review as I’ve only just gotten this product.

Tacky & sticky after absorption (but goes away)

Thoughts 
🐌This essence claims to be a gentle exfoliant while improving skin elasticity and hydration. 

🐌Personally it’s too soon to see if it will give me any sort of result where I go “wow, yeah this is really good!” 

🐌Seems like a good essence with a promising ingredient list.

❣️Origin Red Salicylic Acid Spot Cream ❣️

❣️This is an amazing gel spot cream! It brought down the size of my pimples in a few days and left hardly any scaring after which I usually struggle with. I found it to not dry out my skin which a lot of spot treatments tend to do. It’s my new go to treatment when I feel a breakout coming on.

❣️I’m usually not a massive fan of salicylic acid as I find it’s too drying for my skin but I was pleasantly surprised with these products (see my other reviews of the toner and wash-off serum from this line). 

❣️The more I use this serum the more I love it.

❣️Origin Red Salicylic Acid Serum ❣️

❣️I have never tried a wash off serum before so I was super excited to try this one. The serum is thicker than a regular serum and is slightly sticky after application. Personally I use it as an exfoliating serum 1-2 times a week. I leave it on just long enough to brush my hair as it should be left on for about 1-10 minutes and then wash it off (I found it fits nicely into my routine this way haha). It leaves my skin feeling smooth and looking bright. 

❣️It is a bit irritating for my dry, sensitive skin. I noticed I get some reaction on my forehead near my hairline when using this product. This could be from using multiple products/mixing them. The concentrations are not listed so it is hard to say what is causing this. I notice when I wash it off after using the serum my skin isn’t as reactive.

❣️Origin Red Salicylic Acid Toner ❣️

❣️Very light weight and watery toner, I love the consistency. Good ingredients for exfoliating and hydrating the skin, just not so great for my skin. Slight fragrance (a bit fruity) which reminds me of summer and not too overpowering. 

This is a pretty good serum but I think there are better ones out there. I haven’t noticed any improvement of fine lines/wrinkes yet. I found it is very drying (even when sandwiching it between layers of moisturizer).

I've used this serum for about 6 months and it took some time to really see any results. I have noticed my hyperpigmentation has lightened up while using this and the rough patches of skin under my eyes have also gotten smoother, my acne has also almost disappeared but I think this is due to a combo of things when I switched up my skincare routine.
