favorite ingredients in skincare? me and rice products are like this 🤞🏽

ingredients that are automatically a green flag?

For starters, white cast. I’m brown skin so the blending was tedious with this one. It’s not severe but please expect it. 

What made me give it this low rating is how bad it layers. I didn’t notice this the first couple of wears. It doesn’t layer well with makeup in my experience. Makes my skin look dry, cracks my makeup and it’s not buildable. 

Overall, it’s not horrible as a stand alone product. But even then, there’s better options.

I sampled this product, wore it for a couple of days. Initially, I did think the first wear test was good. The consistency was good and looked like it provided enough proctection. Once applied, it feels like second skin. 

let me just say that i absolutely LOVE this toner. its the perfect hydrating, night toner for me. it’s a gentle, watery texture that is a pleasure to apply to the skin.

i love applying this during the summer. i have oily skin so layering too much product makes my face feel hot and greasy when am just trying to make it look plump and moisturized. however, this toner doesn’t do that. the formula is gentle and light, applying it feels so refreshing. it’s alcohol and fragrance free and the black rice ultimately called my name! 🌾

overall, very sastified with this product. this toner is for all skin types. you can feel your skin hydrated while not feeling like the product is going to melt off your face. it has also not irritated my skin so sensitive skin girlies should definitely give it a go, too! 

Be careful with the eye zone with this one. My eyes were burning even though barely any product was around the area. The burning lasted for a while, too. I dont think its the most gentle moisturizer out there for certain people. 

Alrighty, I tried this cleanser and it was decent. It has a mild scent of mint? Very earthy. Probably attributed to the Green Tree extract. I believe it left my skin feeling smooth afterwards. Though I believe the texture is attributed to the cleanser I used before this…

However, will say my skin was CLEAN. like it was definitely a throughout cleansing. 

While my experience was brief with this product, I do believe with the ingredient list it could work wonders for my acne prone girlies.

the mung bean mask claims to reduce pores and tighten the skin. this one has my favorite scent out of the house of dohwa mask line. it doesn’t smell artificial, very earthy. like dried up grains. i used this mask before when i had a ton of blackheads. one use later, and the appearance of my blackheads was reduced a bit! i think that if you want to see results, consistency is key with this one. i didn’t find it stripping to the skin. main ingredients are mung bean and rice bran extract. this mask is alcohol free! 

nothing! i appreciate the craftsmanship behind the product. 

with nine different rice bran extracts, the rice wash off mask is often advertised as the best mask in their collection. i do think the mask is very brightening. the texture is nice on the skin. leaves your skin feeling smooth. i don’t see any other drastic changes in my complexion. this mask is alcohol free!
