I’ve been interested in skincare for yeaaarrrsss! However, there’s one ingredient that baffles me a little, and that’s RETINOL. How do I incorporate it nicely into my routine? Is it necessary to even add in my routine when I use chemical exfoliants? Do I have to choose between chemical exfoliants and retinol?? I have no idea 🥲

Body Lotion ✨

If you live in an EXTREMELY humid climate and you don’t have dry body skin you can get away with just using lotion. 
But I will definitely be giving you the side eye 💀

Body Butter ✨

Dry skin benefits from using body butters daily. 
I feel my skin just naturally glows now because of consistently using butters. 
Body butters do come in thick cream forms too.

Body Oil ✨

A few drops is enough to do the job.
Dry and rough skin types can benefit especially if you take time to massage into your skin. 

Petroleum Jelly ✨

All skin types can benefit 
It does give your skin a protective glow and keeps your skin from losing moisture (that you should have already added) into the air.

Body Lotion, Body Butter, Body Oil or Vaseline?

I have been trying alternative ways to relieve underarm odour, from using lemon to witch hazel. I recently stumbled upon using a glycolic acid for underarms. I experimented with using the Ordinary’s 7% Glycolic Acid toning solution 4x a week and odour has been kept at bay!

Has anyone else tried this and have any other safe recommendations for controlling body odour?

☀️ The range never comes in anything bigger than a 50ml bottle so that’s a bit annoying. Pro is that its small enough to always keep in a carry-on 

☀️ Love the texture - it’s silky and easy to spread, I don’t notice any pilling after I rub it in so you get a clean finish 
☀️ My skin is quite dewy after I apply it, and it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on my skin
☀️ I have an oily skin type but I don’t like mattifying products so this was great for me 
☀️ It has a soft scent which I like, but if you’re sensitive to fragrance take note of that 
☀️ I didn’t notice any stinging by my eyes 
☀️ It honestly absorbs so beautifully with NO white cast at allll

Sooo honestly I have nothing bad to say about this. It literally does what it says it does and don’t expect anything more. It’s for those with sensitive skin or if you just want a simple cleanser.

* Has no identifiable scent. Just smells clean 
* The pump makes the product foam and despite that the consistency didn’t actually make my skin feel dry afterwards. So even though surfactant ingredients are in the formula, it’s pretty gentle.
* You just need 2 pumps to get a good amount.
*  Because it’s pretty gentle, if you’re wearing makeup or have used a lot of sunscreen during the day, you would definitely have to double cleanse at nighttime. As a single cleanse this wouldn’t be that effective.
* Great as a morning cleanser.
* I like having it as a stripped-back, basic cleanser I can fall back on when my skin is overwhelmed with different products.
* I looove the packaging. The style looks so fresh and clean! 

Because it’s quite a fine spray, you won’t feel super super hydrated. So during winter you may need to spray way more. However, it sits super comfortably on the skin so it can really suit anyone 💦

It’s a really fine mist so it falls so softly on your face. It’s like you’re being kissed 😊

• I can use it as a toner, makeup setting spray, or whenever I feel dehydrated during the day

• It has a pleasant woody scent. It’s very light though, so it’s suitable for sensitive skin

• I love the packaging, it’s so much more pleasing to look at than the normal spray cans that face mists usually come in



💭 The texture is like a soft jelly and it melts right into your skin
💭 Even though it absorbs quite well I didn’t feel like it disappeared. It gave my skin the hydration it needed
💭 You definitely get that soft dewy look from using it 😍
💭 It has a light scent of the winter melon but it’s light enough for sensitive skin
💭 This blends so well into all my routines. I started using it during the day but it works as a hydrating step during the night too.

💭 It doesn’t leave my skin feeling “squeaky” so it definitely infuses much needed hydration into my skin
💭 When my skin is irritated I reach for this because it’s quite soothing. It cleanses well while being quite gentle
💭 It’s not scented so it’s great if you have sensitive skin
💭 Neem is a favourite botanical ingredient of mine cos it always heals my breakouts. It has a very strong scent but they obviously masked it somehow in this cleanser
