Hey guys, 

What's your take on using facial cleansers on your body? Does anyone here do that? If so, do you see a difference between using a facial cleanser vs. body wash?  

I'm wondering because I have so many facial cleansers and I dont want them to go to waste. It just so happens I'm about to run out body wash too.

I'm curious to know how you guys perform maintenance on your body and facial hair.

I started by only using melted wax on my legs, underarms, and upper lip. I liked how smooth wax made my skin. Plus, your hair doesn't grow back for two weeks. I also tweeze my brows. 

Then, I went from waxing to shaving my legs and underarms. I didn't bother to remove the fuzz above my lip lol Still tweezing brows tho 

Now, I don't bother to shave my legs, only my underarms. I have started threading my upper lip and brows. I do everything myself, so learning threading techniques were painful...lol

Hair Removal, Your Thoughts

Hi, everyone! Hope you're all having a great day/night. 

I'm currently in search of a new cleanser for daily face wash. My skin is oily on the forehead and dry on the cheeks. I have some blackheads on my t-zone, nose, and chin. I have large pores...😫

The face wash I'm using now is by Biore. I have noticed it really cleans my skin. It's okay on my forehead, but it leaves my cheeks too dry. It also doesn't exfoliate that well, so my blackheads are still there. 

Please recommend me a facial cleanser that can help me with my blackheads and is suitable for my combination skin type. Thank you so much!

I wish there was a higher amount of BHA, this product is great for smaller blackheads. It helps your skin get rid of it pretty quickly. But if it&#39;s larger, this product is not strong enough. The consistency of the product is also very liquidy, not viscous at all. I find my self having to tilt my head backwards to make sure no product drips down to my eyes when I apply it to my forehead.

My Experience: 
I love this product! I have large pores on my T-Zone area, from my forehead to my chin. I tend to get blackheads in that area. This product has BHA and a very small amount of niacinamide. Which is great for reducing pore size and reducing sebum production. After using this product, I noticed my blackheads have decreased. The texture of the product dries pretty quickly and it does not leave any kind of residual finish. It makes my skin hydrated as well. I really like the cylindrical see through bottle, it lets you know how much product is left.

Once oxidized, the serum becomes an orange-pink color. It stains my finger nails if I do not wash my hands after I use it, which I don&#39;t. I cannot remove this stain unless I cut my nail off. But, this is a me problem.

My Experience: 
I wanted a vitamin c product that was affordable so I can apply it to my back and chest for my old acne scars. I do not want to use an expensive vitamin c product for so much surface area to cover. That was how I came across this serum. I bought it knowing it has good reviews and it is very affordable. 

I used this product every night on my back and chest. It takes 8-10 drops in total. I apply it with my hands after I shower. It only takes 20 seconds for it to dry, but I let it dry for 5 minutes before getting dressed. I noticed it will stain my clothes, so I wear dark colored pajamas now. 

In terms of effectiveness, I have almost no clue how well it works on my back. But, I can feel the skin on my back becoming softer and smoother. I had a few scars that were slightly bumpy, those have now been smoothed out. This took approximately 1 month. I noticed the same thing happening on my chest scars. I can see how well the scars have faded. But, I still see the scars. I will be purchasing a vitamin c product with a higher concentration once I finish this bottle. It works amazing, but I think my skin is ready for something stronger.

This cleanser may not be ideal for those with dry skin. It removes too much causing your skin to be dry afterward. I also found the cleanser also did not help with my acne despite it being able to strip everything off my skin. After my face dried. My cheeks tend to be drier than what it was before. I have to apply more moisture to compensate

My Experience: 
I bought this cleanser because it came with the facial oil cleanser by the same line. I figured this cleanser will work well with the oil cleanser. I also like how the product uses rice water, which has a lot of vitamins that are good for your skin. 

I use this cleanser after the oil cleanser. I massage it into my face for about a minute, then I wash it off with warm water. I noticed this cleanser is very thick, so only a pea-size amount is needed. The whole bottle will last you months. 

After using this cleanser my skin felt very clean. It removed the residual oil from the oil cleanser and any dirt that was on my skin.

The plastic material of the dropper. For USD 35, the plastic material chosen could have been better. There is nothing wrong with it, it just feels cheap to touch.

How to use:

My Experience: 
I bought this serum from @08liter for $3.99. I love brightening serums, so when I saw this I immediately got it. I love how it’s PETA approved, vegan-friendly, and cruelty-free. 

I incorporated this serum into my skincare routine by using it after my toner and essence. I apply a drop on each cheek and one on the forehead directly. Then, I massage it in with my fingers. The serum is thick enough for me to do this.

After applying this serum, I noticed how well and quickly my skin absorbed it. The serum made my skin slightly more hydrated. There was still a bit of resistance and toughness when I poked my cheeks. It did make my skin smooth, but not silky soft smooth. I did not feel any irritation or stinging which is always a good sign. This serum claims it makes your skin brighter. I only used the serum for a week, so the positive change I saw was very subtle. Based on the results I&#39;m experiencing, I say it will take about a month for me to see any noticeable positive change. It’s a good serum, it just takes time to work.

I found myself dripping some of the product over the edge of the bottle, which is a waste. The opening needs to be smaller so I can have more control. The price is a bit steep. I do think the essence is worth it. The results and ingredients truly justify the cost.

The scent is lovely. It contains hints of rose. It’s not strong at all, very subtle. I prefer products with minimal amounts of perfume due to skin irritation.

Texture&#47;Consistency&#47;Color: 
The texture of this product is very smooth once dried. While it’s wet, there is a slightly oily feel but that disappears after 30 seconds. The consistency is a liquid. The color is clear but it becomes cloudy after shaking the bottle.

How to use: 
Shake to activate the formula. Pour up to 3 drops onto the palm of your hands or a cotton round. Press onto face and neck.

My Experience: 
I incorporated the essence into my routine by applying it after my toner and before my serum at night. I shake the bottle to combine the two layers, one oil-based and one water-based. A whisk is in the middle to aid the mixture homogeneity. I love this, it’s so much fun! Then, I pour 3 drops into my palms and press the essence into my skin. The essence has AHA and BHA, so I avoid the use of vitamin c and niacinamide products. 

This essence is by far the best essence my face has ever used. After the first use, I already felt a difference in my skin. My skin felt incredibly smooth, hydrated, and soft. Like silk cloth, but even softer. The slight dry and roughness I had were gone by the next morning. My skin appears brighter and feels bouncier.
