I’m not very new to skincare, but I’ve always been confused by essences like what are they are what do they do? I’ve seen them as a spray toner but I could be completely wrong!

my lips are always cracked and dry, and no matter how much (or little) chapstick i apply they are always cracked. i’m looking for some sort of product to fix my cracked lips so they are softer and feel more healthy.

looking for a lip product to put into my routine.

so, ive been trying to learn more about ingredient mixers and what to do and what to avoid. my current skincare routine (according to their ingredients/ingredient checkers) is apparently not good and has too many product clashes. My current routine (of what i normally use will be linked below and any help is greatly appreciated! I’m really struggling especially with the cleansers and niacinamide clashes. for reference i’m really trying to limit oil in my skin since i am SUPER oily and also fade acne blemishes

i need routine help!

i’ve been experimenting with skin care and have been using a pretty solid routine for the past week(ish) straight. The routine is in my profile under “routine”. Today I’ve noticed lines under my eyes, more white heads, and pimples in places pimples don’t normally appear. My skin is combo-oily, with the oil being in my tzone and under eyes. I’ve been using skin sort and the skincare app to check product conflicts and try to alternate days to accommodate different products. My skin is blackhead prone in my t-zone as well. I am accepting any and all product recommendations. My skin is also semi-sensitive. I will include photos of my current face state, and i appreciate any and all recommendation and thank you for doing so. 

I do also note that toners burn my skin. I am trying to train my face to tolerate the ordinary aha/bha peeling treatment. I have used the Bliss Niacinimide toner for the past week, using it around other product conflicts and it burns my cheeks and my nose. This may have also caused the possible peeling of the underside of my nostrils (similar to the feeling of rubbing nose raw with kleenex).

skincare routine revamp/help

i know retinol is the nighttime skincare counterpart to vitamin C, but i never get up on time to do morning skincare and normally just throw on spf. i just bought a vit c serum from target but i think i’m going to return it and get a retinol serum instead.. any recs?

I have nothing bad to say about this product except I hope it will be available in the US soon!

This product is amazing. It cured my inperfections literally overnight. It is now my holy grail of cleansers, as it is just so dang good. It strips away my oil, while making my skin feel moisturized and hydrated. It clears my pores, removes blackheads, and minimizes acne overnight.

The Cerave Daily Moisturizing lotion is slightly greasy while absorbing into the skin, but does disappear quickly. 

This product is my holy grail moisturizer. I have sensitive skin, and my mother has very very sensitive skin. We both agreed that this moisturizer is extremely gentle on our skin. It is formulated with ceramides to help mantain the natural skin barrier, and hyaluronic acids hydrates the skin leaving you feeling replenished.

🌟What to note🌟
-Though this product says for normal-dry skin, if you have dry skin try the Cerave moisturizing *cream*
- Formulated without fragrance and oil
- Does contain traces of silicone (dimethicone)
- Gentle and non-irritating
- Very lightweight 
- Non-comedogenic 

The only bad thing I would say is it is very thick, and if you have super oily skin like me, you really have to work it in to make sure you rub it in completely!

This stuff is amazing at blemish control. I use it day and night and it controls the redness of my pimples. Its moisturizing, the formula is good, the ingredients are amazing, and its worth it. I got it on a whim at target and I am so happy I did!

nothing was bad about this product, except if you do choose to wear it I believe its best under makeup!

amazing amazing amazing. i use this as a base for my makeup and my makeup looks so dewy underneath!!

avoid if you have sensitive skin. i have very VERY sensitive skin and i put this on for 10 seconds and it started to intensely burn. i wanted to love it but i had to take it off it burned so badly. putting skincare products on after burned, and even the next day putting on makeup in the spots I put it on burned badly too.

the brands overall commitment to sustainability makes this product, ethically, a great option.
