For a wash-off product that most of the content is going down the drain, for me it’s a bit overpriced for what I get. I’ve already used cleansers from a more “sensibly priced” brands (Simple, Hada Labo, St. Ives Chamomile, Derma365) that have already used gentle surfactants with no problems and also non-stripping &amp; moisturizing after wash sensation for years, and feel no significant different results after using this. For those who are used to using cleansers like bar-soap or soap-like (fatty acids + hydroxide) or SLS: of course they will find this product “gentler”, but for me it’s just meh.

The cap is horrendeous, and when squeezed there’s always too much product coming out than needed. I think a pump design will be much suitable.

Good design, luxury-feeling matte tube. For the formula itself: it feels non drying &amp; have a bit of a slip after wash sensation, uses gentle surfactants like some previous gentle cleansers I’ve religiously used (Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Face Wash Gel, or St. Ives Chamomile Face Cleanser).

How silly of me to think that at a quarter of the price, this will be an affordable dupe to the holy grail PC 2% BHA. Definitely do nothing to my clogged pores of redness (I don’t care the fungal acne safe rating, i just need effective salicylic acid at proven vehicle to be absorbable into skin) and the pH is all wrong (above 4.00)

I’d been following GN for a long time even before they pivoted to become a skincare brand and release their own product.
Been using it for &gt; 2 months (since its first day launch) and I honestly say my combination to dry skin really love this product, and probably the most satisfying sensory hydrating toner (in terms of texture and finish) I’ve ever tried. I usually never really saw results from using a hydrating toner before (usually I just used a watery basic ones), but this one really blew my mind! I can see my skin tone become more even, and never been this bright before, and if I experienced redness from acne spots: it really helps to calm it down faster than any serum or cream ever. I don’t know if my skin will stay looking this good and supple if I stopped using this.

Yes it’s a bit pricey, but now considering that it replaces some of my The Ordinary serums to get the job done, I think it’s worth every penny.

In terms of calming redness as it claimed: i don’t really see much difference. For nighttime use i prefer toner with a bit more ‘body’ or satin-dewy look for extra hydration since my bedroom uses air conditioning.

For the price: I expect something more from this.

I love how this one glides like I was putting on a hydrating liquid primer. It gives me a nourished feeling and not greasy. It’s really quick to absorb, mot greasy and somehow feels a bit cooling on skin (but not like using alcohol based toner). It’s great for using during daytime or really hot day since it kind of gives my skin a silky smooth (suede like) look.
